After heavy critcism of the first division stadiums being sub par and not up to quality
La Comisión Nacional de Licencia de Clubes de la Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol did a inspection and found only (Alianza - Estadio Cuscutlan, Santa Tecla - Estadio Las Delicas and Metapan Estadio Jorge Suarez meet the standard).
FESFUT has given all the rest of the clubs 15-30 days to fix the problems noted.

Finally !!!!! FAS stadium is going to be renovated, FAS stated the first phase will focus on removal of the turf adding and irigation system. They stated they wanted to make the turf similar to UES stadium.
Anyone that seen UES stadium, their turf wa sone of the best ground in El Savador, when they went down I was devasted.

They stated that Sonsonate, Chalatenango and Santa Tecla will also be getting upgrade.

Now we need Pasaquina, Municipal Limeno, Firpo and Audaz to make statement about fixing their stadiums.

anyways, salvadoran outlets reporting dustin corea will sign with fas next season.

funny how almost a decade ago this forum belived in all these salvadoran american talents all for them to end up as huge busts. the best one of the bunch is gerson mayen and he will never even go back to mls. (hes 30 now geez)

salvadoran soccer is a collasal waste of time to hope in. its no wonder why people stop caring and never support it or teach new generations to support it.

look at the alianza tecla final. rumors of several players ready to jump from tecla to alianza.

whats stopping them into commiting "errors" like chavarria did in the last final? zero intergity zero reprucssions.

its a huge waste of time. we will not be going to a world cup for i predict at least 2 decades more.

The thing is though that if things where done the right way such as keeping Lara or before him Roca or Israel things could be much better.

There is some talent for what concacaf’s level is and with the World Cup expanding it makes the World Cup spot more achievable. Unfortunately we will continue to have the same mess because anyone with any power in our football is either corrupt incompetent or both

    Grand final result

Alianza 1-0 Santa Tecla (Alianza goalscorer: Marvin Monterroza 40 min)
    Highlights:

Alianza have completed the double winning the apertura and Clausura championship, congratulations they have been the best formed team this eason and deserved their triumph, Santa Tecla should be very proud as their squad is made up with alot of youngsters and with a new coach normally club struggle but they handle the occasion well. Lets not forget they were missing Bryan Tamacas, Juan Barahona and Roberto Dominguez three absloute first team defenders.

Meanwhile Jocoro FC defeated Brujos de Izalco 6-3 on aggregate, since Jocoro won the apertura title as well, they won direct promotion.
