Geez... October is gonna be insane.

I hope the top 3 show their class defeating their opposition in the last two matches, and i mean seriously not for personal benefit or anything, and while we're at it Ecuador to defeat Uruguay too.:D

Que increible, hay gente que postea solo cuando su seleccion gana, pero cuando pierden ni si asoman por el foro. Igual las dos ultimas fechas van a estar de miedo, onda infartantes.

Might as well add Chile to the qualified list, I mean theres no possible way they can get anything below 5th.

It's pretty much down to Argentina, Uruguay, and Ecuador.

No, there is a possible way. If we have the following results in round 17:

    Colombia - Chile
    Argentina - Peru
    Ecuador - Uruguay
    Venezuela - Paraguay

And these results in round 18:

    Chile - Ecuador
    Uruguay - Argentina
    Brasil - Venezuela

In other words, 6 points for Ecuador, 6 point for Argentina, 6 points for Venezuela, 0 points for Chile. Ecuador will be 3rd with 29 pts, Argentina 4th with 28, and Venezuela 5th with 27 (assuming they win be goleadas and Chile loses by goleadas).

Not very likely at all, I know. But it is still mathematically possible for Chile to finish in 6th place.

Good News really???? Argentina has so much talent and undiscovered gems. These guys are hungry to prove why they should inherit an Argentina shirt, they will play their hearts out against this Uruguay team. It can go either way.

Although its hard for Chile to be eliminated i still get nervous and scared. We just need 1 point vs Colombia or Ecuador...If we dont classify im a throw my dog of my 5th floor apartment:eek:

This is the reaction you get when you post a mathematical possibility?

If Mathematical possibilities is what we are talking about, then this is WAY more likely.
    Uruguay ties with Ecuador
    Chile beats Ecuador
    Argentina beats Peru
    Argentina loses with Uruguay
    Arg +3 = 25
    Uruguay +4 = 25
    Ecuador +1= 24

How do you like them apples? Ecuador better hope to win vs uruguay, because all of the other results are very likely given the circumstances.

Damn...you wan't those sorts of mathematical possibilities? Then circle your calendar. April 13th, 2036 could be a really, really bad day on planet Earth.

A group of astronauts and engineers warns that an asteroid may pass uncomfortably close to Earth that day. The chances it will actually hit are just one in 45,000, but even at those odds, the scientists warn, the United Nations should consider a response.

Sir, I believe you are mistakenly thinking about probabilities.

Me saying something is possible does not imply that I think it is probable.

Mathematically speaking, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Colombia all have a possibility of qualifying for the World Cup. They also all have a possibility of NOT qualifying for the World Cup, and that includes Chile.

I'm merely stating a fact. It is not an opinion, and I'm not giving my predictions about what I think will or will not happen.

LOL, I know that...I just find funny how people consider these possibilities...there is also the possibility that our plane crashes and all our NT die! I just want to put these possibilities in contrast with mathematical probabilities.
