Porto. Could have been worse on paper, but we will still need to get our shit together by February if we want something out of this.
What are you talking about? We have 2 months to get our shit together and play the worst team left in CL.
Given how we have been playing the result of this draw is irrelevant. Porto is just as behond us as Barca or Bayern.
We always pull our shit together in CL. The best draw we could have had. EDF remains until the very end of the season with another quarter-final in CL!
So fire EDF today and get the process started. And we all know how we do against the teams we are supposed to beat.
This is probably the best draw we could get. Porto are a seasoned CL Team, but beatable. We also need revenge after one of the most embarrassing CL exits a few years ago.
Make no mistake this is the best possible draw. But Porto isn't the worst team left in the UCL, on current form we are the worst team left in the UCL. It's not even close. Conceicao is one of the most underrated managers in Europe. Porto has been very good under him for two years now. They've overcome an injury to Aboubakar with Marega playing great. This is a far better Porto than the Porto that eliminated Roma in 2016. Is this a better Roma than 2016? Luckily, as you said, we have two months to figure shit out. Let's ********in go.
Like Shakhtar or CSKA? Finally winning games we're supposed to win in CL is the only reason EDF is still here.
Pretty hard for the players to scream in celebration when the squad isn't even at Trigoria today... A late contender for the Didn't Happen of the Year Awards? #DHOTYA2018 https://t.co/hchliU2ayc— AS Roma English (@ASRomaEN) December 17, 2018
Best draw we could've hoped for. With a couple of additions in January the QFs are definitely within reach. Get us that CB, Monchi!!!!

CL revenue so far: €45.938m; advancing to the quarter finals would bring another €10.5m (+ bonusses for wins/draws in the two games against Porto). This is without the market pool on which I found out that it's €292m (for all CL clubs) but not how it's distributed this season. GDS says it's about €50m for Serie A of which €5m has already been given to us before the season (based on our 3rd place finish) and €25m (a lot less than the last years iirc) is yet to be handed out based on how the other Italian teams perform. To put things into perspective: Salzburg won all 6 games and got the most of all EL clubs with €15.652m
