While we are all here hoping we get Shakhtar, Porto, Basel or Sevilla I ran across this article and it made me think.. I bet a lot of the 2nd place teams are hoping they draw Roma. http://www.forzaroma.info/news-as-roma/sorteggi-champions-i-tifosi-del-real-dateci-la-roma/
Of course other fans will want Roma. Some of the other group winners are PSG, Barça, United, and City.
yea, I completely understand I just never thought of it from the other side. If we draw, say, Porto we'll all cheer, 'yea Porto', at the same time Porto will be cheering 'yea Roma'
I'm just trying to see us make the quarters. There was a time when making the quarters felt like a routine. Now, I'd be thrilled if we made that round. Has anyone mentioned the attendance? It seems like we had a fantastic turnout and atmosphere. It was a crucial game, but usually the games we should win against minnows don't draw a crowd.
We should also be getting a pretty big payday if we make the quarters and Napoli get bounced from CL.
Well Besiktas, Man Utd, and Liverpool/Sevilla would all be easier draws than Roma. Spurs might as well. I honestly think PSG, Barcelona, and Man City are the only tougher draws than Roma. They are quite a bit tougher so yeah people would definitely prefer Roma over them, but here is how I would rank the group winners: 1. Barcelona 2. PSG 3. Man City 4. Roma 5. Man Utd 6. Spurs 7. Liverpool / Sevilla / Spartak 8. Besiktas Then here is what I'd say for Runners Up: 1. Real Madrid 2. Juventus 3. Bayern Munich 4. Chelsea 5. Napoli / Shakhtar Donetsk 6. Liverpool / Sevilla / Spartak 7. Porto / RB Leipzig 8. Basel
