A win here will give us a chance at topping the group, a draw could be enough to guaranty 2nd spot with a win against Qarbag. But what matters most is we go out there and play well and stand toe to toe against a top team, its about time we start doing that regularly.
This has the potential to be a big night for us fans and the club. Win this and a home win over Qarabag will get us thru, guaranteed. I'll feel like the team is good enough to get a result here.
#RomaChelsea Kostas Manolas has been included in the squad for tomorrow. Di Francesco tested Perotti-Dzeko-ElShaa in attack in training. pic.twitter.com/eVvNqWB5Js— CalcioASRoma (@CalcioASRoma) October 30, 2017
Our defensive performances in Manolas' absence have been pretty decent and he is only back from his injury. Not convinced I'd start him tomorrow in such a big game on that basis.
Are we sure that we didn't just buy a Mannequin wearing a Schick kit? Can't rule out our medical staff clearing one.
It was fun to watch these highlights from the last time Chelsea visited the Olimpico. What a great night! Lets hope for another great performance from Roma. A win here are we are in complete control of our CL destiny.
No cheap goals, the only fear I have that will stop us getting the result. I think we'll play them of the pitch again.
I think we're going to see a different Chelsea that was a little embarrassed at home. Also, when this board is overly optimistic, things end up poorly. Can everyone please shift back to the "whoa is me" Roma approach. You know, the draw would be a win mindset. Thank, you, please carry on with your day.
Not necessarily optimistic. I'd be happy with a draw, considering we can't attack worth a damn. Just tired of being a bunch of scared rabbits at home against a remotely big name in Europe.
I wouldn't say that I'm overly optimistic. A draw would be fine too. And even a loss wouldn't mean the end. It's just that this is one of two games where a win would almost secure a spot in the final 16. That's why I'm so enthusiastic.
