Hell, I'd prefer watching Sokratis play as RB, rather than LP. And I'd rather see Subotic play than Toprak (as ridiculous as that sounds).
I don't know why people expect Toprak to catch up to Ronaldo there in that situation. Burki however, that was pitiful, near post again. He needs to work on that, or we need a new keeper. We're not gonna contend against top teams with such a glaring weakness
Well... Barring a major turnaround, I'm not confident of our advancement. Too many injuries, referee errors, and poor selection/tactics have set us back.
I didn't think we would get out of the group, but now we are dependent on Madrid. If Madrid can do us a huge favour and beat Tottenham twice then there is actually a decent chance. The problem is I think Tottenham will get a draw. We play Madrid again in the last game and should they be top and through, Zidane will play a weak team allowing us a chance for the draw. Sahin, Castro and LP should not be starting, the midfield was especially weak and got dominated. Gotze was actually good, but was alone. I have said before, but I don't expect to see the first team out until the Leipzig game. Bosz deserves time to get to know the players.

Well, now we have to hope that Madrid wins both games against Tottenham. Let's also not forget that this was the current CL winner. It's not a disgrace to lose against them. But even if we don't reach the knockouts, it's clear that new players like Dahoud and Toljan still need time to gain a better understanding with the team. I'm looking forward to the Dahoud and Weigl partnership after a full season. I think Götze was a positive, especially in the first half. In the league, he seemed hesitant at times. Today there was no time for that, much pressure from Madrid and he realised it was up to him to create something because many around him struggled. He grew with the challenge.

If Bosz's intent was to neutralize Modric-Kroos then that cannot be done with Castro-Sahin since your aim should be to keep possession away from them and force them to run and defend. Castro and Sahin are to slow and unskilled to play consistent keep away. Weigl and Dahoud need to be the starting midfielders next to Gotze.
