I didn't see anything interesting on Real Madrid's site but I saw a discussion on another Spanish language forum that said: "Marcelo se ha unido a los lesionados que ya se conocían como son Theo Hernández, Kovacic, Vallejo y Benzema son baja." Marcelo is injured along with Theo Hernandez, Kovacic, Vallejo and Benzema. Their 20 are: Porteros: Navas, Casilla y Luca. Defensas: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Achraf y Tejero. Centrocampistas: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Marcos Llorente, Asensio, Isco y Ceballos. Delanteros: Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, Lucas Vázquez y Mayoral. Con estas ausencias, el once elegido por el técnico francés lo podrían formar: With these absences the starting XI for the French Coach will be: Keylor Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho; Casemiro, Modric, Isco; Asensio, Bale y Cristiano Ronaldo. The farther forward you get the less I like that.
The attack can go toe to toe. The midfield and defence are also on par. I'm worried about the system. They will sit back, press in their third and counter attack; no team does that better in the world. They've been doing that for 7 years.
Arghhh, I was optimistic til today when I woke up with bad feeling. What if the suddenly start to play good?
Or worse, what if we suddenly start to play bad. I am recalling horror shows against HSV, Spurs, S04 and Bayern.
BTW I’m in the enemy’s back yard. I’ll be watching it in the hotel. Hopefully the Bayern Match will be on free tv tomorrow
Interesting XI for PB. It doesn't seem like the best XI. PB really likes Castro and suddenly CP is being shown the outside. I guess it leaves the team in position for some good half time changes if things aren't working. PB will get hell if this doesn't go well, I think.
Well at least we can focus on winning the Bundesliga. I feared that Castro and Sahin would start when Gotze/Dahoud/Weigl finished the entire match. The only bonus is that we should beat Augsburg.
Whaaaaaaaat!!!! Castro and Sahin!?!? Against Modric, Casemiro and Isco!!!! Castro isn't even fit to be a ballboy at BVB or Madrid. This is preposterous.
