Sancho seems to have an injury. Right before the Bayern game.

A big win and now we have a good shot of getting out of the group. Credit to the players, they played with intensity and speed. This is the way they need to start games and then relax when they are2 or 3-0 up.

The 2nd half was a great display

    The fans made the difference

Now try to pick at least a point in Barcelona

Good effort in the second half to win the game. Unless Inter wins against Barca, another win against Prague would be enough. Similarly to the Wolfsburg game, the confidence came with the first goal and we got to see some good football. In comparison to the first encounter with Inter, it was nice that the team didn't shy away from tackles. Those late tackles weren't only against us this game. You don't want to see injuries but you need to have this presence. Otherwise the oppoenents just walks over you.
But despite the great second half, let's also keep in mind that you cannot play a first half like this against Bayern.

Lmao the posts from 1 hour ago saying Conte has a winner's aura and demanding chicken Favre to be sacked at halftime:ROFLMAO: as good as eaglespark calling Akanji world-class awhile back.

Top punditry, keep it up guys.

Still doesn't change the fact that Favre has a chicken mentality. Yes, we won, but it did come with a hefty dose of luck. And the trio of Akanji, Hazard, Sancho were pathetic today. Today we had luck, tomorrow when we don't will it still be punditry?

The point is that there’s potential in this team to match the best there is, and only the coach can get it out of them. Waiting for the 2nd half or last 20 minutes is not always going to work

The football has been steadily improving after the Schalke debacle, and IMO the 1st half today was down to defensive errors and lack of finishing. To me the team is playing with a lot more initiative and aggression over the past few matches.

Yeah you're a brave keyboard warrior calling someone chicken on your sofa. Sancho actually played well in the 2nd half, he's far from a pathetic loser webtroll.

The defence made mistakes but the entire team was not horrifically bad apart from the lack of a striker. By your reckoning all 28 players and coaches involved should eff off then, hope you've not counted yourself as a fan for self praise lol.

Are you implying that you had a crystal ball and you knew we'd come back all along? Your faith never wavered, you think LF is a great coach and the current position in the tables is a great result for this team? I am very happy with the result today and if it continues against Bayern and we go on to win the league then I'll review my position accordingly to those facts. But so far the results from this LF team is way below expectation but tends to trend up recently. This trend up also coincide with a bit more rotation; coincidence?

So what, saying what I think makes me a keyboard warrior and a web troll? Nice logic. You heard something that doesn't fit into your narrative and we begin with the name calling. What does blind support make you then? If you prefer to have your tongue deep inside Favre and the management's behinds, be my guest. Hell, even be like the local fanboys for which everything is roses and daisies, despite the fact that we keep effing up matches and missing our chances. I see that you are content with it.

And the defence was not the only weak link - Hazard and Sancho ruined so much attacks, either with pointless shots, bad decision making or with unnecessary dribbling, that they should have been subbed off way earlier. Gotze is not a striker and never has been, but Favre keeps trying to make him one. We had a backup in Isak, but he was never given a chance. Witsel's passing was also suspect. Yes, he was invaluable for breaking up attacks and covering a large perimeter, but when a pass forward has to be made, his limits begin to show. And being a fan also means to acknowledge when there is an issue, but that is probably beyond you.

You're talking about the job as a manager like a gamer playing FIFA. Hint: it's not. Favre is the best manager in the history of your beloved club by facts: most points per game, most win percentage etc etc

I find it hilarious that so many of you want a José Mourinho, who left burnt down clubs left and right since his time at Inter and who if anything will let play a defensive, destructive football.

Success isn't about win percentages, it's about trophies. To call Favre the best manager in Dortmund's history is absurd. It is also important to consider factors such as money spent, strength of direct competition etc. Imagine Klopp with the sort of investment/resources and current weakness of Bayern that Favre currently has the luxury of. Dortmund would be dominating the league.

Favre still has a lot to prove.

Well that's just an assumption of you. Fact is, Favre achieved 25 points more last season than the year before that with different manager(s).

The different managers being Bosz and Stoger....,

Btw I don't necessarily think Favre is a terrible coach, but I do think he has a lot to prove to show he is capable of winning trophies. Up to this point he hasn't shown the mentality needed at the elite level. Maybe the last two games will be a turning point.

Must've misunderstood the concept of supporting a football club, assumed fans would back the team they chose when losing instead of swearing at players like rivals. Thanks to Twitter and Football Manager games many "fans" confuse their identity between supporter and armchair critic who can demand a sacking everytime the team is trailing at halftime. May be the stress of unfulfilling lives, misery loves company.

Klopp is the best. He too had fans worried he was going to turn Dortmund into Mainz. Watzke and the fans were also more patient and willing to give Klopp time even if he lost games and finished outside European spots. Favre has a different set of challenges, Redbull Leipzig did not exist in 2008. More money brings higher expectations from less patient Erfolgsfans who bandwagon the team in recent seasons. Fans that think a weak Bayern means BVB wins the league by default are asleep, Redbull are wealthier, run a global scouting network and competently run enough to get 2 clubs into the Champs League.

Yeah, keep on thinking you're so much better then everyone else and we all have unfulfilling lives for not appreciating our team playing very poorly because of a bad coach. I'm sure you're real happy with the 0-4 Bayern result in your pink world and zombie brain...
