Götze is playing the whole season as if he has to cover two positions. No surprise there. Even if Bosz didn't know the players, all he has to do is look at the numbers on the players' shirts to get a hint where to put them on the field.

Now we have to hope that we won't lose Bürki for the derby. Weidenfeller will come in.

It's just pathetic. He is literally playing Gotze in a position which you would need the fitness and energy of Kante. Yet Gotze is not the fitness, not the quickest and coming back from serious injury.

How is he supposed to create when he is tackling just outside his own box constantly.

    Pathetic.

I gave Bosz the benefit of the doubt, at the start, because of the injuries and the time to learn about his players. I do think it has to be remembered ALL of us know our players very well. We watch Dortmund week in week out, but he has had more than enough time and constantly picks awful teams and stupid formations.

It took Conte 6 games to find out what works at Chelsea and correct it. This season he has tweaked things again to get the best out of Bakayoko.

Bosz is what he is at this point. He's had a fair amount of time to try to get it right and he just hasn't. At this juncture, it's incumbent upon the board to evaluate Bosz and Watzke and realize both are at fault. Watzke fired Tuchel yet failed to retain Mislintat and hired Bosz as his choice. Unacceptable.

******** giving Bosz two games, he must go BEFORE the derby. That is the most important game of the 2 by a mile and a defeat there would be very damaging.

I think it's because that loser Watzke needs time to line up a replacement.

The problem with football is that it's ruled by rich fat middle aged men who think swift action to steer a ship back on course is being trigger happy. And these people dominate BVB. Just look at the way the situation was handled at Bayern and how it's handled here. It's why they are marching on in the CL and will win another BL title while we are out and will lose another BL title.

It's true if the board had acted decisively there wold be a chance at the Bundesliga.

As bad as Bosz is, the defence is a worry that goes beyond him. Overall Bartra has not been a particularly good signing and I am not too impressed with Toljan. A great coach, who improves players, like Pochettino might be able to correct their faults.

If we look at all the top teams they nearly always have consistent formations and consistent selections that work. Everyone here can predict at least 8/9 players that would start for City, United, Chelsea, Barca, PSG, Bayern or Real in any big game. Tuchel gave the team no consistency.

We've gone from one manager who constantly changed formation and personal for no reason to a manager that plays the same flawed system, which suits virtually none of our players.

What was the point of signing Dahoud if that poor excuse of a footballer Castro is still collecting minutes he doesn't deserve?

PB post match: Schalke derby comes at the right time.

Said the same shit before Bayern and Spurs. Everything about this guy is predictable. Why not get Tedesco? He likely Knows our players better than Bosz by now.

Bosz absolutely failed once again in his lineup and tactics. The only two things he actually got right were starting Zags and playing Weigl in a slightly deeper role. Other than that, this was another mess.

He tried to shield Gotze's defensive efforts by rotating him into the half space when defending, but then proceeded to force him to drop deep in the build up. This leaves Auba with little service, and Gotze exhausted.

Schmelzer has regressed so badly he is an absolute liability at this point. Agree with @eaglespark.... just freaking play RG at LB! How is this difficult to understand. I have little doubt that Schmelzer is Watzke's errand boy on the team, and is likely the one who went public with his complaints about Auba's attitude.

All said and done.... #watzkeraus #boszraus

Marcel Schmelzer's interview in RN was appalling. I don't understand how he's the captain when he is nothing but a little weasel with below mediocre football skills. Thomas Tuchel was right about Sahin and this snitch. They don't belong in this club, let alone in this squad.

Bosz seems like a lazy idiot. He never shows up for training after a match day. Wtf. He's supposed to be analyzing his defeats.

How long does it take to analyze when pretty much every game is lost due to individual defensive errors. From there I suppose there are two reasons, players not good enough, or coach not putting players in position to be successful. Or some combination of varying degrees of both.

I know it is not the Dortmund way, (losing isn't either) but I would stop leaking easy goals over the top of the backline. If that meant dropping deep and playing route one football, then that is what I would do, make the footrace go the other way.

When you have one of the fastest forwards in football, then hoofing it up to the fast guy is a viable tactic, even if it is not very pretty or fun to watch. It might even open some space between the lines as the back line drops deeper. Sure beats watching the other team get all three points.

As a USMNT fan and in following other clubs, this is exactly what it looks like when a group of pretty good players quit playing for each other, and everybody just goes through the motions. It is evident by the lack of intensity on the pitch, there is serious discord going on behind the scenes.

The difference between the two coaches is striking, one was playing grand master level chess and the one now is playing checkers. It is really sad when you think it all goes back to a guy smoking a cigarette on the training ground around the players. Smoking really does cause cancer. and Dortmund are in urgent need of Chemo right now.

What the hell is this? This is the kind of a pass map you have against teams that park the bus. Spurs are anything but that.
