Are any of those DA signees men? Does FCC plan to have a NWSL team or something? I'd have thought the point of an academy is ideally to identify talent who might make the senior side.
This is the Girls academy. It's a joint venture between Kings Hammer and Cincinnati United Premier (CUP). The Cincinnati boys develop academy are part of CUP. They wear CUP kits. The boys played today against Indy Fire at Grooms in Blue Ash. I think this was the last DA games this year.
Gordon Thornsberry @FiddleGT 2h2 hours ago SUPER PROUD to announce I have joined fc cincinnati for the upcoming eMLS season. Words cannot describe the feeling I have to represent my home city. Ready to wear the colors and hopefully grab some silverware along the way #IgniteUnite
The off-season news keeps coming: We are proud to announce ThePride 812 as the newest chapter of the SG, based in SE Indiana! The fc cincinnati movement keeps growing and bringing people together, regardless of where they now call home!
When is FC Cincinnati getting "promoted" from this forum thread to the "MLS: Clubs" level forum? Not sure why we are still in the "MLS: Expansion" thread when the official MLS logo and other upcoming ceremonies and pre-season schedules have been announced (i.e. expansion draft, etc.)?
I asked the super mods about creating the MLS team sub forum a couple of weeks ago, but the answer I got was that team forums are usually put up after the expansion draft. I followed up with them when I saw this.
so did I, they are well aware that they need to change several things - I reminded him to include the two FCC threads here. He is revamping the Candidate Cities area. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/seeking-suggestions-for-candidate-cities-clean-up.2085997/
Making the move to MLS. FC Cincy has signed an original member of the to its MLS roster, midfielder Corben'Bone. #IgniteUnite http://bit.ly/2DybztT
At this point, I think the MLS team conversation should continue to go on here, and whoever ends of modding the FC Cincinnati sub forum can clean it up, and move conversations to appropriate threads in the MLS team forum. In the least, there should be a stadium thread, branding thread and roster thread in the final forum when it comes online with some posts moved from here. The expansion threads should then be locked. Edit: and a preseason schedule/results thread.
should FCC keep its placeholder in the USL for a Reserve Team? should FCC move its reserve team to another city? should FCC have an affiliate team partnering with another USL team?
Some of the bigger clubs do have a "II" team. I dont see any reason why an ambitious Cincinnati couldnt do the same. If partnering with another city, Louisville makes the most sense to me.

Putting a 2 team in Dayton seems like the best idea. It’s close enough that the 2 team can practice with the senior team in Milford and just drive up to Dayton for home games. Or go the RSL route and put a 5,000 seat stadium in Milford
yeah Dayton seems a legit option. good call. Ohio is one season away from becoming a soccer mecca. After almost losing Columbus, this is gonna be good to see. That rivalry is gonna be a big freaking deal.
Where in Milford will the new training complex be? I drove through Thursday and didn't see much flat ground.
