Buffon Balotelli Hazard Vertonghen Parker Oh deary me, http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/apr/22/football-transfer-rumours-fernando-torres-city
how bout we buy players over 22, and lots of them. or we can just pretend like we wont have an injury problem next year.....
Nice list, may I add my own wishlist while we're at it? Akinfeev Balotelli Vertonghen Di Maria Nilmar
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...s-up-search-for-new-keeper-article401655.html This says Wenger is looking at Rene Adler from Leverkusen just like the link in the old thread, but this one also mentions that we're looking at Jerome Boateng from Hamburg as well. Interesting stuff.
Hazard, Balotelli and an experienced CB and GK for me we don't have that kind of money though Although Balotelli has handed in a transfer request and is willing to take legal action for Inter to accept, and he is in the last year of his contract
this says otherwise... http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/86/i...rio-balotelli-has-not-handed-inter-a-transfer but my oh my would I love to see it happen.
Thanks they ran with this story on football weekly... I can't see him staying though, but Moratti absolutely loves him
We'd have him for 1, maybe 2 seasons, then he'd start agitating for a move to AC Milan. Of course, if there were enough appreciation on the investment...
Instead of who I want to see arrive, I'll mix things up and list who I want to see leave: Fabianski (Almunia is the better GK, and better to keep around while a new GK settles) Eduardo Vela (would do better in Spain, struggling to make the squad) Silvestre Senderos Gallas (wages too high, and he is too injury prone to get a 2 year deal - I'd keep him if he would accept a 1 year deal) Traore (3rd choice LB, essentially dead weight) Denilson (need someone more physical in midfield and one of our CMs needs to go) Merida (not going to make it here) Sagna (both full back positions need to be upgraded with players who are not useless in the final third)
i really dont have a problem with any of those guys leaving. obviously we wont see anywhere near that kind of turnover, but that is a pretty long list. id keep merida if possible.
Rewind wanting to sell people...shocker I don't know why you would want to sell a 21 year old Vela and why one of our CMs need to go. I would be ok with selling most of these guys though if upgrades/replacements were going to be brought in. That would not be the case though so we should hold on to what we got and look to add without selling.
Vela hasn't gotten his shot. Gallas is a veteran starter/depth. Denilson is already a good squad player who will improve with age. The rest i could pretty much do without.
I'm in the Balotelli is a headcase camp. I've only seen him play a few games this year, never under anyone but Jose though so maybe the special one or ac milan love is the problem? Rvp is my 2nd favorite player on the team, but I would look long and hard at a "trade?" for those two. We did pretty well without rvp for a majority of the year, and I have to think that a gk of buffon's quality would have us a few points closer to the top. With that said, with rvp in the lineup we would surely have bagged a few more goals, and could afford with having 2 shit keepers coughing up goals. Fuc I dunno. lol
The only player I want to be sold is Almunia. I'd be fine with Eduardo, Fabianski, Silvestre, Gallas, and Traore as long as we buy players in those positions.
No, all those have to leave except for the possibility of Gallas on a one year contract and maybe Traore. Eduardo (never going to get back to where he was before that shocking injury - definitely needs a less physical league to possibly get going), Fabianski (shit) and Silvestre (too old) all need to go.
Please Arsene, we've been very patient. But now it's time to spend some cash. Make it happen. 1) GK 2) CB 3) DM
http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/engla...10-million-for-manchester-city-goalkeeper-joe 10m for Joe Hart, not bad. oh and this... http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/2...arget-arsenal-right-back-bacary-sagna-rreport I like Sagna, don't want to see it happen. The article also mentions us going for Van Der Weil, how good is he, really?
The more spelling mistakes, the less i believe it. We could lose Sagna or Eboue, but not both (especially not Eboue). And i think Joe Hart is our guy (could be wrong, but ******** it, better to waste 10 million than 30).
We should sell both Almunia and Fabianski. We can get good money for them both then buy a new GK and use Mannone and Sneezy as backups. Sounds feasible right?
