I love how much press Christian is getting and even more that the club is constantly pimping him out. that being said. American football is quite popular among some Euros. I recall in Sweden there are quite a few places you can go to watch teams play.

Nice article about CP in the Guardian today. [Note: for those of you who enjoy puns, read the comments after the article]
Interview: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-borussia-dortmund-us-soccer?CMP=share_btn_tw “I couldn’t have imagined playing this much at the start of the season,” Pulisic tells the Guardian. “I’ve been lucky, and I’m just thankful that I’ve been able to stay healthy and the coaches have felt they can trust me to play, whether it’s been off the bench or starting.” The Concacaf qualifiers, particularly away from home, have been an education. Breaking down the compact lines of Ingolstadt and other lower-ranked Bundesliga teams is one thing; surviving the kind of physical treatment he was subjected to by Panama in March is quite another. Pulisic assisted Clint Dempsey’s goal after another of those battling solo runs that night but came out battered and bruised. “It’s something the European players here might never have experienced,” he says. “I’d never played in games like those before, on fields where the refs just aren’t protecting us. In Panama it was especially disappointing, but it’s just something I learn from and in Concacaf I’m going to be playing in plenty more games like that.”
He actually has before in U-17 qualifying. He sat out the match the team played against Honduras that tournament though. Maybe he called in sick that today lol. I'm sure there are plenty of players who call in sick right before a game against Honduras because they don't want to be injured.
He got injured in the Guatemala match earlier in the tournament. That's the match Josh Perez completely dominated.
But for the away game to Bayern, I've never seen him put in a poor performance in a "big" game. His mentality suits these occasions, and while I don't expect him to start, I've no doubt he will thrive if given the chance.
BVB: Bürki, Bartra, Dembélé, Reus, Guerreiro, Aubameyang, Kagawa, Sokratis, Piszczek, Ginter, Schmelzer. #sgebvb pic.twitter.com/ybs23mZwaa— Borussia Dortmund (@BVB) May 27, 2017 No Pulisic in the starting XI
So he's doing his Teuchel thing and trying to go defensive in a big game. Piszcek as WB is so meh. This is a 5 man defense, so plenty to be excited about if you're Frankfurt.
made a PBP thread here in case anyone's still doing those... https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/ch...s-dortmund-2017-dfb-pokal-final-5-27.2055079/
Those last 20 minutes were very painful to watch. No control in the midfield. Really miss Weigl. Hoping to see CP bring in some spark for maybe Kagawa and have Reus and CP play wide/centrally. Or play with a 4-3-3- and put CP right behind Aube.
