The Champions League return leg versus Benfica stands out to me. His chipped goal was superb and he made several other remarkable plays.

Didn't TT keep both Dembo and CP on the bench to start the away match against Monaco?

If so, that is a baffling decision.

You have to admit Teuchy has been down right bizarre some times with his player choice. With all his players healthy, I don't think he knows his best team.

Yes, that is quite possible the greatest CL performance by any US player. Beezer against AC Milan might be the only one that tops it.

Upon review that should have been a non-call on the CP penal.

Pretty sure that game was in March. CP had a pretty solid March, WCQs included iirc

Don't get me wrong; in a playgound pick, I'd choose CP over Durm every time, all the time. But two different players serving different roles. Yeah, Tuchel has been a little off with his picks, though. I've had issues with his picks since the beginning of the season.

I remember Beasley shaking both Muntari? and Stam in one move in that game

It seems they get beat like a drum every time Durm plays. It takes four goals to win.

No, wasn't Muntari. That game took place almost 7 years before he joined AC Milan.

IIRC, JOB also had a very good match against an Italian team (AC Milan?).

    Yes, but is he balding?

PS: BVB won on penalties, but (Will) Pulisic didn't play.

People of Croatian background don't seem the type to go bald early, all the ones I know have a full head of hair, and they're about my age (i.e., late 40s). I think it's mostly a German/English thing. And a lot of Middle Eastern guys go bald early too.

I hope to never see him throw a football in front of an impressionable child. Ever.
