I thought he played with passion, a bit raw. His passing was just ok, there were instances where I thought in a couple of instances he missed the correct outlet pass. Nothing terribly bad, just that at this junction he is not ready for camp January. He may get better in the next 4 months.

I monitored the game myself today. Odds are that he could be the heir apparent to Bradley?
    Anyone know?

Not unlikely, this guy's improvement curve has been solid so far. He's pushed himself from reserve to bench to regular sub to rotational starter and now looks set to become starter, period.

I haven't seen Savi in a couple of years. He sure has improved his game. I like him as a winger. Cappis is a solid DM with smarts.

Lots of praise to Cappis from the TV3 expert (and former Danish NT player)
Per Frimann for his performance against Brøndby, saying that he look very cool and calm with the ball and is very good at reading the game and is also pretty fast and seem much more experienced and mature than his young age and actual experience would suggest .. not sure if you are able to watch the clip in the link below, but let me know if you are :

In any case here is a Hobro interview with Cappis after the match :

I turned this one on for the last 7 minutes, just because I’ve never seen this kid.

They immediately surrendered a goal. So yeah, I feel you.

A draw away at M'land is a very good result for Hobro, actually.

Good result, though it should be said that FCM are looking terrible at the moment ... 1:55 into the highlights below, Cappis has an attempt saved by the FCM keeper

From what I saw, he patrolled his area well, and was smooth on the ball. Tough to be too impactful in scoring even at home given Hobro's inferiority. But it's somewhat a credit to an 8 like him the game finished in a scoreless draw. Did have a nice find into the opposing box but nothing came of it.

His free kick found the head of Imed Louati who sent it past the keeper

Is it impressive a 19 year old is taking their free kicks? Feels like it should be.

I wonder if he is getting scouted by any larger clubs. I'm generally not one of the "gotta move" guys, but Hobro does seem like it's a league that he might outgrow pretty quickly given his age.

Cappis is one of the more underrated Americans in Europe at the moment. That's probably fair because Hobro is a very tiny club. But I think Cappis is a good player. Hopefully he gets picked up soon
