Cho has argueably been our best player so far in pre-season. Some excellent performances :)

I know about and saw the belter he scored at Norwich but do you have any examples from any other pre-season matches? Greatly appreciated in advance!

Preston away in the friendly 10 days ago. He came on at half-time, played the full second half, ran the show from midfield. Winning the ball back, making killer passes, bursting from midfield to get into attacking areas.

Came close to scoring once or twice too.

Its nice seeing more "new" koreans going abroad like Lee chung young. I hope these players live up to their expectations. I would rather have very few talented korean ballers like Ji instead of having alot of unexperienced and failing players in europe who enjoy the bench. Good luck to them!

A friend of mine was at the Paraguay match and had a chance to catch up with Jo Won-hee. My friend asked him how Wigan felt about him playing in Seoul just three days before the PL season opener and this was pretty much his answer: "I thought it was pretty cool when I saw Park Ji-sung travel around the world to play international matches, so I wanted to do it too...."

    LOLOL.

    That's why it's funny. I don't think Jo Won-hee is very bright.

rather think he is being astute here and like you said skirting the question on purpose.

its a no win situation for him to answer that question directly.

Didn't really have to do much as they were already up 2-0 and looking very comfortable. Wigan look really good and they were passing the ball superbly. I'm surprised Cho Won-Hee made an appearance given the match with Paraguay mid-week but hopefully he gets more playing time soon. He was terrific in pre-season as batch mentioned and so here's hoping he gets a chance to impress.

Yeah 5 mins isnt much to go off of. But I also am surprised he was named to the bench after the friendly just couple days ago. Hopefully its a sign that the manager sees Cho as an important piece.
