Munoz leaving to join scumbags across the hall & 13 players from the academy defecting the Chivas USA Academy is in rebuild mode. You don't leave the club because your coach leaves. This Monday Chivas USA Reserves play the galaxy @ 11 am field 1 & On Tuesday the U23s will host FC Hasental in a friendly scrimmage at 7 p.m. in Bell Gardens
Soon I can see alot of these youth products taking the field with a few key pieces around them. Delgado, de la fuente, Calvert, Zamora, . I think El Guero is the perfect coach take make this happen effectively

I was at the reserves game and “ El Bronco” aka Brian De La Fuente Had a great match and score a sick Goal I hope we keep him around this time, we did really good from the midfield up …the defense was terrible yesterday The future looks promising Cesar Zamora is from my hood Sylmar and also played for Sylmar High were I was a Captain for 3 years (1 JV and 2 Varsity)

I feel like De Nigris' injury coupled with Bravo's contract problems messed up the plans to send us more depth at the front.

March, how's the overall attitude of the Academy these days? Does it seem as though a lot of the players are going to bail because all the problems with the senior team/FO?
Most of the players from the U16/U18s defected with Mike Munoz former U16 coach to the galaxy. Chivas USA is no longer part of the Southern California Soccer Developmental League. I've heard that most of the coaches left Chivas USA as well. The only academy teams the club has left are still playing in the United States Soccer Developmental Academy. There is a lot of bad resentment towards Van Der Most. I'm not sure why. Chivas USA Academy is in rebuild mode for the 3 time under Sacha Van Der Most.
Chivas USA U23s tied 1 - 1 this afternoon. They had plenty of chances to take the lead. The Chivas USA reserves play the Sounders this Monday.

De la was with the club for 1 1/2 years from 2010 - 2011. He only made 1 appearance with the 1st team. Returned to Chivas USA with the U23s this summer. Hopefully we will see more signings from the U23s.
