How did they throw MLS in the mix as they have their own CL, totally separate from the ACL? We definitely belong in the top 5 on that list, though I'm a bit surprised we're above the J-League.

    This poll doesn't mean anything.

I'm curious...those the AFC have something like the UEFA Coefficents? Where teams who do well in Asia get more spots in Asian football tournaments?

Seems CSL general secretary is very happy with the Ranking, in a interview he said " I don't know much about E-League and Saudi league, but obviously CSl has more popularity than K-League and J-league, K-League and J-league never achieved such kind of success as we have in middle 1990s', if the league resumes as it used to be in 1997, no doubt the CSL will be NO.1 league in asia! the foundation of CSL company give us a chance to realize that!

and let's look at what our stupid media said:

    http://sports.sina.com.cn/s/2006-01-08/0132751466s.shtml

in this article they said K-league and J-league sucks after 2002 WC, and will became weaker in few years

Why? Is it because all their stars will have moved abroad; thus, improving the overall development of Korean and Japanese football? :D

Ranked above Japan. Right there this list has discredited itself. If the CSL is managed half as well the way Japan is doing it China would have been a soccer superpower already.

It'd be nice to have the average attendance for each league.

I must have missed this, because this is totally hilarious. Sure Jia A had some glory years that are easy to talk about, but all of those come before the major corruption scandals which are more recent. It is possible for the CSL to overcome those bad memories and build itself up again, but its not going to be easy. That "if" in his comments is a very, very big if.
