Erton Fejzellahu has joined Beijing Guoan on a permanent 2-year deal after playing for Guoan on loan from Djurgardens IF the past season.
sun xiang will be out of contract soon. evergrande is trying to renew contract with him; but shanghai east asia is offering a better deal (more than one year contract) for sun xiang.
Shanghai International Port Group (also known as SIPG) has officially taken over Shanghai East Asia as the club's new owner after founder and previous owner Xu Genbao stepped down. The club will now be known as Shanghai International Port Group Football Club (SIPG FC for short). Still going to call them Shanghai East Asia for the time being. Club logo and club colors will roughly stay the same. Also, Sven Goran-Erikkson was officially unveiled by the club today as the new manager. He has signed a two-year contract to manage the team.
Good that club logo and club colors will be the same. So, we expect some good transfer in the winter after Sven arrival
Another managerial change as Shanghai Greenland has sacked Sergio Batista and named Francis Gillot (who last managed Bordeaux in Ligue 1) as their new manager.
Haven't seen this posted but Evergrande are trying to sign Fred from Fluminese. There are even suggestions Conca would be willing to return if Fred does sign. Would that spell a quick end to Diamanti and Gilardino? I can't see Elkeson going thats for sure.
Diamanti played pretty good for Evergrande, but he clearly wasn't on Conca's level. I don't think Conca will leave Fluminense though. Fred would be an upgrade over Gilardino after Gilardino's poor performances the past season.
^But Evergrande just signed him in August. I can definitely see Rene Junior being moved instead to accommodate Fred. I mean Huang Bowen is good enough to fill his spot.
Sorry but I don't see that happening with the new coach being also Italian. I highly doubt Diamanit will be pleased with that either. I would just sell Rene Junior and maybe try out two strikers or maybe even a diamond to accommodate Gao Lin.
Rene Junior was one of the stars for Guangzhou this season, coming up with a couple of great goals and bossing the midfield. Rene Junior definately outperformed both Diamanti and Gilardino this season, so it doesn't make much sense to sell him. Lippi is also Italian, and he kept starting Rene Junior over Diamanti and Gilardino so i'm not too sure about that argument. Lippi is still the technical director for Guangzhou aswell, so i'm sure Cannavaro will get some advice from him.
