    Hey all,

I run a blog on soccer-related pop songs, and I'm trying to identify some good ones from outside the usual suspects (mainly the UK and the USA). I'm especially interested in any Chinese songs, since I know a little Chinese (普通话), which would make it easier to write about, at least. Plus, I like to use Chinese music as language practice, so that's two birds with one stone.

All I've really run across so far is 韦唯's song for the Women's World Cup ("Go Girl Go") which is in English and pretty generic (if you're interested, here's my post about it).

Can anyone recommend other soccer-related songs from China? I'm especially interested in songs that are in 普通话 but not bland-generic MandoPop (ie, "Go Girl Go").

Thanks; I was already planning to write about this coke commercial (and the very good song it is based on) but didn't realize it had been remixed in anything but English and Spanish--I guess I should have figured. I can definitely use this.

Nice! For some reason, metal is underrepresented in the soccer song world. Or maybe it's just harder to find...

Is the band 零点? I can't find that much information on them, but my Chinese is a little rudimentary. Thanks for the tip.

Here's Guoan's song (with helpful English translation):

I can't remember the name of the 2004 Asian Cup theme song, but could probably find it somewhere. Also, there was a Chinese version of the theme song to this year's World Cup...
