Chilenos en la Champions/Europa League (R)

Matias y Medél tuvieron buen desempeño.

 

Un paseo en el parque para el Barcelona, como era de esperarse dada la superioridad de la liga española en Europa. Los únicos en condiciones de vencer a los catalanes en un ida y vuelta son el Bayern, Real Madrid y Atlético de Madrid.

 

Manchester City tiene a varios tipos que no son para un equipo que quiere ser de clase mundial. Demicheli no puede ser titular en ese equipo, tampoco Milner ni Fernando que no generaron ni una. Veremos como anda la cosa con Touré.

 

Partiendo por un técnico que arruga

 

Es reconfortante cuando el tiempo te d ala razón.
Apenas Alexis decidió irse al Arsenal señalé que era un error tremendo recalar en un equipo sin sangre, sin carácter, sin historia en Euopa y sin ambición.

En caso de quedarse la siguiente temporada demostrará que es un futbolista mediocre en su forma de pensar y se merece esa institución poco ambiciosa.

 

No te ha dado la razón, ni cerca. Es mil veces mejor que Alexis haya llegado hasta esta fase de la Champions siendo titular y hasta figura en lugar de llegar a la final apenas jugando 10 minutos, y con cuea y más encima criticado.

 

Esto no es tenis ni golf, es deporte de equipo e importa ganar con todos tirando hacia el mismo lado, el lucimiento personal, que es por lo que se elogia a Sánchez, es menos relevante en comparación al resultado final de una campaña, los trofeos obtenidos.

Y basta de llorar por las críticas. Alexis estaba en el FC Barcelona, en el lugar que los futbolistas de élite quieren estar, y si se le criticaba por su rendimiento es porque no daba la talla o no tenía el que el hincha de Barcelona espera. De última, son los costos de pertenecer a uno de los 5 clubes tops en el mundo. No lo aguantas, te vas. Corta.

Dicho lo anterior, igualmente espero que algún día Sánchez tenga revancha en un United, Chelsea, Bayern. Futbolisticamente no me vuelve loco, pero sí están Bernat, Cuadrado, Young, demás existe un lugar para él, aunque no se desempeñen en las mismas posiciones

 

Hay que tener oportunidad de aportar al equipo, no la iba a tener Sanchez, es así de simple. Todo lo que dices tu suena bonito pero la cosa no iba resultar así, la realidad iba ser que Sanchez comería banca (independiente de su promedio gol).

Cualquíer persona objetiva se dió cuenta que Sanchez sí dió la talla, fue titular en la mayoria de los partidos y despues de Messi fue el máximo goleador.

Ojalá pueda irse a un club más grande, en eso tienes toda la razón, pero salir del Barca fue y sigue siendo hoy más que nunca la decisión correcta.

I also think that City's main problem is the ageing squad. The core group of players are the same core group that played under Stuart Pearce and Mark Hughes. That was three managers before the arrival of Pellegrini. In other words, it was a long time ago. On another point, what are guys like Demichelis, Lampard, Milner and Fernando doing there? Begiristain was the key man responsible for these recruitments (excluding Milner). Where are the young players? Why have we not seen a younger team? Where is the pressure on Soriano and Begiristain?

No manager anywhere in Europe would win a UCL title with this squad. The EPL is different. Mourinho, for one, would never allow this to happen. He isn't afraid to make enemies.

I think that Pellegrini has to realise that if Toure and Aguero leave at the end of the season, he doesn't have a team. And, I think that he's left things too late. The team was too high on the EPL success from last season, but that time has passed.

 

Correctly said, it simply is not a world class team.

 

I just finished watching them now; a loss to Liverpool at Anfield. You know that it's bad when even Toure and Aguero can't save the team.

The defence is quite poor for a club with big aspirations. And, there is no deep, defensive midfield. Toure is a central midfielder, and if you take him out, you see the real picture. The first goal was a double-error from Fernandinho and Kompany.

For a man who handled transfers and team development so well at Villarreal and Malaga, Pellegrini really surprises me.

He has 11 games (33 points) left in the league to save his job this season. I think that only winning the EPL title or knocking out Barcelona will keep him there next season.

 

Concuerdo, es un gran merito sacarlos campeón. De talla mundial hay pocos.

 

Fue un gran partido para ver. Sanchez empezó muy bien y se fue quedando. La cagó Arsenal en ese último gol que recibió en Londres.
