    Moments from history:

I have found one video where Pedro Morales could score, but footballer Ilija Sivonjic missed this opportunity. Very popular video.:D

    Best wishes for him.
I don't like him as footballer, but he's fast, a good athlete, and can make some good assists. His best friend is Alexis Sánchez, another forward born in Cobreloa, both were born in the same city (Tocopilla).
He was called up by Sampaoli for the NT again (matches against Paraguay and Bolivia).

Maybe he will make some good things in this slower European football.:) So far he is third Chilean player, maybe I missed someone from earlier times.

Yes, it's the same club. Croatian president Franjo Tudjman wanted to change the name of Dinamo into Croatia, because he thought that fans will like more Croatia name.

First name of GNK Dinamo Zagreb was HSK Gradanski Zagreb (Gradanski means Citizens). This club was founded in 1911.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HŠK_Građanski_Zagreb

Yugoslav government suspended this club and new name was adopted Dinamo Zagreb in 1945 year. Visible in this article from above.

Last coach of HSK Gradanski Zagreb was Hungarian Marton Bukovi.
First coach of GNK Dinamo Zagreb was Hungarian Marton Bukovi.:D
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_GNK_Dinamo_Zagreb_managers

Croatian clubs that expressed Croatian sentiment were usually under observation, they were either suspended or their names were changed: HSK Zrinjski Mostar, NK Siroki Brijeg, HSK Gradanski Zagreb, HASK, HSK Concordia.

Sin Dios ni ley en Yugoslavia.:D Literalmente.:whistling:

We can say that ancestors of GNK Dinamo Zagreb are:

    HSK Gradanski Zagreb: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HŠK_Građanski_Zagreb
    HASK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HAŠK_Zagreb
    Concordia Zagreb: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HŠK_Concordia

It's written here, that all three clubs were suspended: Origins and early years.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNK_Dinamo_Zagreb

Stadium of HASK was today's Maksimir Stadium. Dinamo Zagreb was formed and many players of HASK just entered in Dinamo Zagreb. HASK was dissoled because of their name. HASK means: Hrvatski Akademski Sportski Klub (Croatian Academic Sport Club).

HASK was founded i 1903 year. Today HASK exsits as independent club.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NK_HAŠK

Last match of HASK was against HSK Gradanski Zagreb on 10. April 1945. This match ended 2-2. This date is not only one coincidence. On 10. April 1941. Independent State of Croatia was founded. These two clubs picked that date (10. April) in 1945, so that they can celebrate the National Day. After that they both were suspended and Dinamo Zagreb was founded.

Original name was FD Dinamo. Or Fiskulturno Drustvo Dinamo (Gymnastical-Cultural Society Dinamo). In my opinion very silly name. Because the word fiskulturno is not in Croatian language spirit. Fiskultura was used as a name in schools until 1990 for Gymnastics. Fiskultura comes from the words: Physical-Cultura. This word: fiskultura exists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro...maybe in some other countries of that area.

This was ex-stadium of FD Dinamo (today's GNK Dinamo Zagreb).
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadion_Koturaška

First match at Maksimir Stadium was against Partizan Belgrade on 19. November 1945.
Partizan Belgrade was founded on 4. October in 1945 and they managed to play in the First Division instantly, same as Red Star Belgrade. Usually new clubs start from lowest divisions.

Notable players that joined in GNK Dinamo Zagreb were: their Yugoslav national team matches practically ended because they played for Croatia national team in period from 1941-1945, nothing to do with their weaker quality, visible in their biographies, after Croatia national team there was no national team status, maybe few matches for some players.

August Lesnik (HSK Gradanski Zagreb): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_Lešnik
Mirko Kokotovic (HSK Gradanski Zagreb): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirko_Kokotović
Franjo Wolfl (HSK Gradanski Zagreb): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franjo_Wölfl

    Ratko Kacian (HASK): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratko_Kacian
    Zeljko Cajkovski: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Željko_Čajkovski

Drazan Jerkovic is also very prominent player, he played in Chile 1962 and he won World Golden Boot.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dražan_Jerković

    Statistics from 1946-1947 season:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1946–47_NK_Dinamo_Zagreb_season

They ended as runners-up. It's obvious that GNK Dinamo Zagreb didn't had fair treatment, they suspended their two ancestors, they changed the name, but they couldn't change the feelings of fans. This was the first club league the "second" Yugoslavia. First season was only among republics.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1945_Yugoslav_First_League

Serbia played against JNA (Yugoslav People's Army) and Serbia won this league of course. Very funny league format. Vojvodina and Croatia played in semifinals. Vojvodina is a region in northern Serbia that has special status of autonomy, because of many ethnic groups.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_Province_of_Vojvodina

Serbia wants to remove their autonomy status. Croats live also in this region, because part of Vojvodina was a part older Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia (Red part on this map). Croatia was all the way to Belgrade, it didn't included Belgrade. But in Yugoslavia Croatia lost their territory.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Croatia-Slavonia

Dalmatia had their own Kingdom of Dalmatia:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Dalmatia

Serbia wanted to conquer both ex-kingdoms even though they never had majority there.

Kingdom of Dalmatia had coastal parts of today's Montenegro, also lost in Yugoslavia. Croats formed every religious, cultural aspect in Montenegrin coastal cities Kotor, Bar.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croats_of_Montenegro
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Croats_of_Montenegro

Montenegro is the part of ancient Red Croatia::D
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Croatia

"Red Croatia (Latin: Croatia Rubea, Croatian: Crvena Hrvatska), is a historical term used for the southeastern parts of Roman Dalmatia and some other territories, in including part of present-day Montenegro,:) greater part of Albania,:) the Herzegovina:) part of Bosnia and Herzegovina:) and southeastern Croatia, stretching across the Adriatic Sea. Another Red Croatia was between rivers Bug and Dniester according to Bruno of Querfurt, and was part of Pechenegs tribal union and was 6th Pechenegs province. Red Croatia was neighbour to Kievan Rus' and White Croatia."

Today they :) are something else and use some other languages, but they are very aware of Red Croatia. Son can't be older than his father.:whistling: Luckely I don't need Google Translate for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro languages.:D

They consider that northern Albania belongs in Red Croatia, those parts are even today Roman Catholic areas. Later conversions came because of Ottoman Empire and Serbia. They did the same with Montenegrins.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Catholicism_in_Albania
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Catholicism_in_Montenegro

One Serbian king Stefan Nemanja was baptized as a Roman Catholic, after that he was re-baptized in Orthodox church. So probably people where he ruled belonged to the same religion.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefan_Nemanja

He ruled with the green part: today's Montenegro, Albania and southern Serbia. This area had the name Zeta before.:whistling:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Map_of_the_Principality_of_Serbia,_12th_century.png

    Zeta: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeta_(crown_land)

Serbian Orthodox Church was founded in 1219. They don't like to talke about the periods before 1219. World started to exist in 1219.:D
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_Orthodox_Church

In 1990's they wanted to return Croatian name for GNK Dinamo Zagreb, because everyone knows that they got this name of Dinamo by force, so that clubs sounds more eastern. But fans always refused the name Croatia. I never undestood the reasons why did they refused this name. For me it seems silly that football club has the country name. Fans of Dinamo Zagreb had always Croatian sentiment. Maybe this was their "spite", you gave this name to us by force in 1945, now we will carry this name as a memory on those times.

NK Dinamo Zagreb also implemented the letter G, so it'snow GNK Dinamo Zagreb. G represents HSK Gradanski legacy. Maybe you have noticed that I often write the letters GNK, and not only Dinamo Zagreb.;)

Personally I would like to see this name: HASK Gradanski Zagreb, connection of HSK Gradanski Zagreb and HASK.:D I don't feel their "spite" if "spite" exists at all.

The real reason of my visit here is the video of Pedro Morales who scored nice goal for his Malaga:
    http://sportski.net.hr/nogomet/lige...-realov-rekord-abidal-se-oprostio-od-navijaca

Croatian media follow his achievements there. First video shows his goal.

Comments against Dinamo Zagreb management in the bottom are very negative, they say: He couldn't play in Dinamo, but he can play in Malaga. People are angry because they have sent him on loan and because Morales was on the bench often. Management of Dinamo pushed Sammir instead of Morales, one person said this in the bottom. Sammir can't improve at all.:) Sammir will end his career in Zagreb, best clubs won't buy him, maybe he can go in Russia, Ukraine.

Pedro Morales is still a member of Dinamo. Maybe they will return him in Zagreb, not sure will Manuel Pellegrini Ripamonti take him in Manchester City.

OK, Mr. MetroChile.:D Result is 1-0 so far for Dinamo Zagreb, strong battle on the central area. Not many chances, so Fernandes can't express himself. Zagreb currently has stronger rain, so the game flow is not connected with their creative desires.

Anyway, first trophy for Junior Fernandes and Dinamo Zagreb is very close.:)

After this match, new season will start: national league and qualifications for the Champions League. Fernandes will have plenty of chances to play. He is still in the game, 75 minute and penalty for Hajduk Split. And it's 1-1, Pablo Migliore guessed the side, but impossible to defend.

Junior Fernandes is replaced with Alen Halilovic now. Total football now.:D After 90 minutes, we will see penalties, without additional time.:)

General opinion is that new players are good so far.

    http://gol.dnevnik.hr/clanak/hnl/vr...-londonski-velikani-opet-u-igri---293663.html

Junior Fernandes is considered as a player who has nice speed, but he has problems with scoring.
In this article they say that he didn't accept the ball well few times. On preparations, he also missed few clean chances. Article says, that he needs more matches, it's too early to judge only on few matches (preparations and this Super Cup). He didn't played in Bayer Leverkusen often. Positive thing is that he creates chances very well and that he can liberate himself from his opponents. Goals should arrive in the future.

This website is good, they try to be objective.:) Other new players are also described in this article.

Before several days, magazine Sportske Novosti had one interview with him. He said: "Bayer Leverkusen invested a lot of money in me, this means that I have the value". This article was published: 22. June 2013.

    http://sportske.jutarnji.hr/modro-p...-platio--to-znaci-da-nesto-vrijedim-/1110041/

    Google Translate:

Quiet and self-effacing, he (Junior Fernandes) is still not completely relaxed. But slowly getting used in Dinamo, with the new teammates, with the new rules. If we observe the training we can see that he has excellent physical qualities, just waiting to see what will happen when the matches start.

    - First impressions of the past few days in Dinamo are great. Team accepted me, trainings are interesting, honestly, I thought it would be so good - Junior Fernandes speaks softly, with simultaneous translation of Luis Ibanez.:D
Chilean, on loan from Leverkusen came as reinforcements from whom much is expected. Odds, measuring more in the Champions League, the Dinamo is not just a passer. What else could be noted in the first training is that Junior is ready, even though he was late with the preparations, does not feel the delay, working with the players all you need.
    - On the one hand I'm at a disadvantage because I have not played much in recent months, but I am constantly and regularly practicing so I am physically in excellent condition. I have to admit, I wished the game, I miss the real challenges.
Again, he pointed out that the coach Jurcic, you have not had a day of rest from last season, have come directly from the team, whether it be a threat?
    - True, I had no rest, continuously train, so I made a deal with the coach to tell him if I'm tired, I'll get some rest.:D I believe that there will be no problems in this regard.
When can we expect from Junior Fernandes in top form, as we will show that it is justified status reinforcements?
    - I absolutely believe that I will start the season fully prepared to wait. I say, I can not wait to start season, I start to play.
Let's see now less attractive issues. What happened in Leverkusen, why has not he played more?
    - I was not able to fight for a place, Bayer has a lot of good players at that position, the team is playing well and I got a lot of opportunities.
You criticized the sporting director Rudi Völler said that you are a fantastic player, but not enough bite, behave as if you did not care whether you play or not?
    - It's hard to get used to the team and style, just as you train and play 9:55 minutes. You can not show me anything, it's not easy. But that's why I came to Dinamo for one year quality work, play and to get back to Leverkusen. Bayer is for me to pay a lot of money, I guess that means that something's worth, I have something to show.
In Germany, you are not able to adapt, you afraid that you'll be hard to get used to Croatia ...
    - No, there is no fear. In Germany, I knew it just because I did not play, since it all starts. The Dinamo have come that I played, if football everything is fine, there is no reason that all other things are not good. I do not mind either cold or snow, I felt it already in Germany.
It may happen that you never return to Leverkusen, you next Dinamo redeem and stay here. Would you consider this a failure?
    - No, why. That in turn would mean that I have proved to Dinamo, I had a good season. I would not mind. I must admit that the Dinamo did not know much, I watched, I knew only that in Europe and to play Champions League. But my Chilean Pedro Morales and Bryan Carrasco told me a lot about this club.
What are your basic football virtues? We have seen that you are quick.
    - It certainly is the speed advantage. How to run 100 meters? I do not know, I've never measured, I can say that I'm not as fast as Bolt, ha, ha. But I'm fast, I did.
What Dinamo fans can expect this season? Goals, assists ...?
    - My favorite position is wing, still left or right, I played on both sides. Of course you always want to score as many goals, but it's hard to say a figure that I'm getting. I can only say that I promise to do our best to make it scored more goals, firing as many assists. I like to have scored, but certainly add.

Junior Fernandes brought one penalty and GNK Dinamo Zagreb won against Fola Esch 1-0.

Argentine goalkeeper Pablo Migliore is no longer member of Dinamo, because of incident with coach on the training, coach said that they will have closed training without the fans or family members. Migliore brought his son with him and Krunoslav Jurcic ordered to him that he must return his son at home, but Migliore refused to return after on training session.:D
It seems that something much bigger happened, this seems very silly...Migliore confirmed that he wants to leave Dinamo. It seems that father of Migliore has health problems, so Pablo had problems with dealing with this far away from Argentina. He wants to return in San Lorenzo: "My best four years there, I adore people in San Lorenzo and they adore me".:D Interesting figure anyway, he uses provocations during the match against his opponents, but it was only matter of time if we observe management and coach of Dinamo.
Weak performance yesterday, only one goal, around 78th minute from penalty, weak game style.
    Next opponent is Sheriff Tiraspol.:D

It seems that Junior Fernandes adapted very well, his speed makes problems for defenders, his directions are harder to predict for slower defenders, so they make errors and penalty fouls.:D
In these qualifications there are not many serious teams, they are mostly unexperienced so Fernandes can use this.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–14_UEFA_Champions_League#Second_qualifying_round

Harder teams here are: Steaua Bucuresti, Viktoria Plzen, Maribor, Legia Warsaw, Celtic, Maccabi Tel Aviv....with several really defensive teams. Dinamo Zagreb should win against Sheriff Tiraspol, after that another team and if they win, Dinamo is in the Champions League.:) If not, Europa League is their next competition. But Dinamo must win against Sheriff.

New goalkeeper is probably Dario Kresic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dario_Krešić

Club has eight forward players: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNK_Dinamo_Zagreb

El Arbi Hillel Soudani, Andrej Kramarić, Junior Fernándes, Marko Kolar, Fatos Beqiraj, Fran Brodić, Ante Rukavina, Duje Čop.

Marko Kolar (18) and Fran Brodic (16) are still very young. But they will become his competition in the future. They should be good.

El Arbi Hillel Soudani, Andrej Kramaric and Duje Cop are his current competition. So if you observe that there have many matches in the national league and cup, if they continue to win in UEFA competitions, possible Champions League or Europa League main tournaments, Junior Fernandes will have a lot of chances. So far he is doing well.

Fatos Beqiraj and Ante Rukavina are not in good shape, probably on the exit door, they really had a lot of chances. They both play since 2010, so it's time for new solutions. They waited Rukavina too long, big Croatian hope, talent, but at the end he hasn't grown into a major player.

New goalkeeper is not Dario Kresic, he was expensive, so new goalkeeper is Grzegorz Sandomierski from Poland.:)
