The "soon-to-be" rebranded Chicago Soccer Club (a/k/a, maybe f/k/a, "Chicago Fire") face the East leading Philadelphia Union, coached by former Chicago Fire living Q-tip Jim Curtin. This is a must win home game for the Fire, of course, since the Fire have played the most games in the league and are still 10th in the East. A win and the Fire could be tied for the final playoff spot (although still out of the playoffs at this point). The Fire have a decent home record, with 6 wins, 6 draws, and 2 losses. Philadelphia has the best road record in the East. This is the Fire's last evening home game, and third to last home game overall. Fire win 2-1 or 2-0 (depending what stupid things happen)
Will I still be watching even after the team shit the bed and wiped its collective ass with my lucky jersey in the most predictable way possible with the season pretty much on the line Wednesday night? Sigh... ******** me. FWIW, Chicago Soccer Club spelled out like that (rather than just Chicago SC which makes me think we hitched the city to an F150 and moved it to the Carolinas) looks pretty cool in the headline but really dumb in a normal font. Yes, we’re back to that part of the season where the only meaningful (and I use that term super loosely) conversations to be had are about off the field topics. Can’t wait for this season to be the ******** over
Fire sale of Fire gear before the Fire disappears while the Fire losing will fail to convince nelson to finally Fire pauno. Count me out. Who am I kidding, I’ll still probably try to tune in / catch the highlights because I’m an idiot.
https://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/matchcenter/2019-08-17-chicago-fire-vs-philadelphia-union/lineup How is it the Bronico keeps starting over Milhailovic? Wasn't Milhailovic one of Pauno's favorite players in the beginning of the year. Edit: First 16 game of the season Milhailovic played 1,114 minutes and started 13 of the 16 games, in that same span Bronico played 330 minutes and started 2 games. The last 11 games of the season Milhailovic played 243 minutes and started 3 games, in that same span Bronico played 990 minutes (every min) and started 11 games (every game).
Hopefully the starting 11 have a good game, because there's ONLY one player worth a shit on the bench.
Why the snarky remark? Because I commented earlier this season against your man Nikolic? Let it go. Unlike Nikolic, Sapong has actually had some nice goals. But he should have had that one.
LOL, figures just as imposted that. Again, he SHOULD put those in. I admitted it before and I'll say it again, he at leastmakes nice runs and outs himself in a position to score. Should he score more? Yep.
I think I originally signed up for espn+ with facebook. Now I can't login that way anymore? Do I care enough to go watch it on the tv?
