Time to move on from a bad loss. The Chavs are getting mouthy about how they're going to beat us. Which means that they're running scared. They know we need to come back after that and set things to right in the football world.

I just love seeing Chelsea get beat, especially when it's Liverpool doing the honors.

They're garbage but they're going to be up for it, so we need to be just as pissed and ready to make a statement as they are.

Should be a win, Chelsea are not very good... but they did give LFC a tough match already!

    3-1 good guys.

Watch Kante miraculously recover and run the midfield again

We've only won twice there in the Klopp era, haven't we? Regardless of how far we've improved and the chavs have regressed, it's still a difficult place to go to.

We're going to have rely on the defence and the front three firing. Kante will own our midfield but if it can at least provide cover when the full backs go forward it will fulfilled its mission.

Midfield should be Henderson Wijnaldum and Fabinho from the start. A cheeky start for ox would be ok too.

    Reverse psychology from Jugen?
As he praises the Chavs new team and attitude. Going to be an interesting game anyway. Anyone who thinks it'll be easy needs to rethink. It'll be a tactical win for us away at the bridge on Walton Breck Road. :)

last year we got a point only thanks to Studge's worldie. I have a feeling this game will be totally different, in our favour.

    That's a bit strong.....
I see this as a game that we will need to perform in to win....

I meant really perform, and not just coast through it.

NBC still have their hissy fit going with DTV
Appreciate any pertinent comments on the game. Just a tad more than the usual "Oh Shit" would be lovely. :)

This match largely depends on whether Mount and Kante can play

If both are out it is certainly an advantage to us - but either way it won’t be easy

He didn't own it against us in the Super Cup, and even moreso after Firmino came on.

But he's just returned to training so it's unlikely he starts.

No surprises in the starting eleven. Brewster makes the bench over Lovren.

#LFC starting XI v #CFC: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Mane, Salah, Firmino

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Shaqiri, Brewster
