They're still coming fast and furious now. We got obliterated on Wednesday 4-0 and we look like a team that sucks really badly. I mean, everyone sucked. Top to bottom suckage. That pass? It sucked. That movement? It sucked. Defense? Sucked. What about that offensive creativity? It all sucked. Hazard? He sucked almost worst of all. Kepa? He's really good, but part of the team, so he sucks, too.

Our sucky team is playing the suckiest team at home.

Christensen with a rare start over Rudi. Figured Luiz would have been dropped instead but that would make too much sense.

    At least it's a "change"

Better player movement today thus far, hope they keep it up, and Barkley just brings more edge than Kov

Still think this would have been an ideal match to give the kid a start, since we can't really next 2

Great little run and finish from the number nine.

What a finish. Morata misses that all day long.

Strange that he would be on the bench then.

Heard he had a niggle in training. Maybe good enough for the bench.

Hard hit penalty. Venting some frustration there I think.

That felt like a Lampard penalty.

Yeah, not doubting. Literally just think it's strange if we have any concern about a starting CB he would even sniff the bench. The whole risk/reward thing.

Would think they would rather have dave slot in in case of emergency and deploy a full back from the bench as cover.

    Hope he isn't needed.

Cho should be on by now.

    Edit: There he is.

Couple of thoughts... first half Willian makes sprinting run to track back and win the ball on the left side. Once he helps win it and the ball is played forward you can see him throw his hands up in frustration. Alsono wasn’t sprinting back and was firmly in the left wing spot.

Wasn’t a fan of Higuain signing but he is the striker we needed. Also while I shouldn’t be surprised he clearly knows how to properly press as a striker.

Glad Cho is on but he could have come in sooner. The game was won.

Perfect chance for Ampadu to get some PT and game experience as the 6. Looks like that role may be short lived for him with Kovacic coming on there.

I had to duck out early but I’m gonna watch the game in full. Higuain scoring two is a nice thing to see. I’d have been a fan of signing him if it was 5-6 years ago.
