Pre-match presser Sarri says he'll probably start CHO. The sooner this guy ********s off the better. His attitude is just as bad as Conte's second half of last season. Find someone who has some tactical flexibility and isn't afraid to sit someone because they're shit.

Oh, and actually start RLC so we can get something going from the off. That'd be nice.

RLC and CHO start, something to show that Sarri wants to try something.

I hope so Kaz. They make us better going forward which is our biggest struggle IMO. I just hate his shitty attitude about it. He'll probably start. He sounds jaded like Conte now.

I think the "probably" is a lack of command of the English language as well as not wanting him to decrease his level in training. Most managers don't like to commit before team sheets are announced.

Kovacic is shit. Was so excited to see him come here and he's been terrible.

Kovacic is a better registra in this system then Jorginho is. It's the only thing he offers. Otherwise, yeah, to your point, he sucks.

When Sarri plays --- Kante---Jorghino----Kovacic You just know that none of them are likely to score. Which means there will be no goals coming from midfield. So hopefully we will see RLC and/or Barkley.

Jorghino. When he arrived I was happy. We had stole him from under the noses of Pep and Citeh. Jorghino would then go on to make 2,000 passes or some such figure in one single game. I was impressed. And then. . .the other clubs figured him out very quickly. He is non-creative passenger in our midfield. Not sure what his point is anymore.

So i'm starting to like Kova in the registra role more, but I'm not anti Jorginho like a lot of people are. I'd rather have Rüdiger in and Christensen in for Luiz I think. All on all though, this is a good squad. Like the balance of this. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a bit of 4231 with this. RLC can really play in any of the attacking mid spots too.

Only concern is balance but we've needed to see this squad for a few months. Really excited for this.

If this 11 steps up, our season could be reignited.

If they dont, well back to fatalist musings about hazard I guess.

i forked over the $20 for gold....

Giroud with our goal. Not too many chances. Hazard missed a golden opportunity though from 10 out. RLC has been timid but he is rotating with Kante as the advanced or sitting next to Jorginho. CHO has been great. He assisted on Giroud's goal and then had a chance minutes later only to miss the ball entirely.

CHO the best player on the pitch. Really playing well and a creative threat, something we sorely need. If healthy he has to start the rest of the way. Such an upgrade.
