getting this one up a little early. Arsenal have Wenger suspended for this one, and are lacking bodies in midfield with Ramsey, Cazorla, Elneny, and Xhaka all not available for differing reasons. likely means OX will start with Coquelin in the middle. up the chels, get the win. just a reminder, i was there for this:
I haven't heard any news on Luiz. Seems he's been nursing something the whole year and it's getting worse. It's hard to tell with games like this. Arsenal are coming off a bad loss, the Xhaka thing, the Wenger suspension. They could react well or roll over. I think they'll switch it up a gear for us and give us a real challenge, with Sanchez being key. We seemingly have no injury worries. I would like to see Hazard really show up for this one and also see us overrun their depleted midfield.
rumors that hazard has been playing through a slight injury the last couple of games now. since Leicester apparently.
My new boss is an Arsenal fan. Anyway, Hazard is training today but wouldn't be surprised if he started on the bench. Luiz has been nothing short of amazing for us this season. I love how pundits choose to forget he won the CL with us.
So some chance of neither Luiz nor Hazard being available? If they are carrying knocks, does Conte rest both so not to risk aggravation, or play both and then rest?
He said in his presser earlier today that the full squad is available. Whether they start or not is another question. I think he'll risk them for such a massive match. If we can secure the 3 points at home, we have some matches coming up where we could rotate: Burnley Swansea West Ham Watford Stoke Palace Then we hit City again.
that's been confirmed. he's been struggling for it to get better and limited training ever since. this was only the second game that he played without a supportive wrapping.
