Not one to get the pulse racing but a match nevertheless.

15 minutes in and numerous chances, all spurned. Morata in particular had a shocker of a miss (highly reminiscent of Sheva). Really worried for him if he can't score today. The man looks lost.

What channel is this on in the US? Says B/R on livesoccerTV but don't know what that is.

listening to commentary and they called out that fabregas seems to be looking pretty good and buying in to his position. doing a lot more one/two touch passing instead of his head up and deliver long ball specialty, seems to be adjusting well to trying the jorginho role. obviously he won't be the same but would that be fair?

bleacherreport has a stream service now. it's not actually on tv. i'm sure it's a pay service, one i'm not really willing to pay for right now. turner broadcasting bought rights for champions and europa leagues.

Having some good play with Kova and Pedro looks fast on the counter. Just a lack of composure in and around the box right now.

RLC is playing - not brilliantly to be fair but he's getting minutes.

Emerson has been aggressive getting forward. A few of the usual gaps between midfield and back line. A bit disjointed as you'd expect but a goal is coming.

At one end some great running by RLC (possible penalty) and at the other a bit of a mess between AC and Kepa. Completely avoidable. Almost gave away a penalty on our end as well (yes, it was Gaz). All happening now!

At least Morata seems to be living up to his reputation.

    From the BBC
No player has had more shots during this seasons Europa League than Alvaro Morata (12) with none of those being on target.

Finally. Let's see what the lad can do from here.

    Morata has scored a goal.

    Yep. A header.

Let's hope it buys him some confidence.

No. Willian flick on and he one-timed it in the six yard box. No time to think about it which was in his favor :)

That was a lot harder than it needed to be. Really glad Alvaro scored (especially with such a dreadful miss earlier in the match) and if he can hit his prime form (massive if I know) we will be vastly better up top.

Great to see OG so happy for him too. Good squad spirit right now.

Yeah, that's the fella. Can't help thinking his size reduces his midfield mobility but, still...

Thought maybe Hudson-Odoi would at least make the bench.

Glad Morata scored. Bummed Odoi and Ampadu didn't see the field. Please stop playing Cahill.

credit to starting RLC though. and there was some pretty heavy rotation already. had we scored earlier maybe Ampadu comes on.

i mean, there were 7 changes from the arguable best starting lineup.
