    Pedro MOTM. easily.

but the squad deserve some credit as everyone stepped up today. hazard didn't get going but still did his job defensively.

oh and Sarri didn't stay to shake hands again.......no idea why.

zola even seemed like he tried to pull him back to do so and Sarri refused.

edit: shockingly, pundits are giving him pretty much a total pass on this, saying he's probably so wound up and in his own head with the pressure and also the excitement of the win that he was just in a hurry to get in the tunnel and kind of revel in the win under pressure. i'm really surprised poeple aren't trying to read more in to it.

Pedro was amazing tonight, best game from him in a long time.

We need to get our goal scoring up. We need to get our goal difference back.

Sarri and Poch did NOT shake hands. Weird. Must be a story there.

What a gritty win. I didn’t expect it. Was the mid-season lull just an anomaly? I was working so really couldn’t watch closely.

Hope the team stays motivated after this important result. Did I hear correctly though; we've set a record with the amount of times (18) we've hit the crossbar/post this season? If half of them go in...I can only imagine we'd be positioned differently.

Out of both cups in a week, a 6-0 and a 4-0 thrashing in recent weeks, a manager that cant motivate his players, players all looking to leave, a 2 window transfer ban imminent..........................however one win over Spuds and everything is alright in the world! :-D, just like it should be, I am old enough to think that a victory over 'that lot' is almost like winning a trophy! :-D

Shocked at just how comfortable this was. I'm not shocked at the result just didn't think this group had it in them.

Tidy result. Still not creating enough chances (1 on target today) but the effort was good and thought we played well other than some stray balls in the final third. That we can beat a good side without a fully engaged Hazard is a big plus.

To be fair it was like Sunday and the City game - both games were pretty exciting and in both games neither team had that many chances.

We don't need Hazard, but he is still the best player in the league.

Spurs fans were singing "you don't know what you're doing"...give em that one :D

Holy shit, what a crazy game this is. Great 3 points.

Best tweet I read: Pedro was playing like there was an 18-year old Academy product trying to take his spot.

What a match by him. The defense, the goal. A man possessed.

Saw that tweet too and it gave me a good chuckle.

I was smiling throughout this match. I ********ing love this club and the game. So much joy and misery. No matter the result though, I always come back for more. Cannot wait for derby this weekend. I really missed those trips down Fulham Road.

We have a really nice looking slate in March. Get through this weekend and move on to the next.

A win against a shit Fulham is absolutely necessary. Our pattern has been to have good games, then horrible. Moreso than the win against Spurs, this match against Fulham will be a true test of our mettle under Sarri. Will we play at that same, high standard? Or will we drop to match the competition? Fulham will play much more compact and breaking them down will be difficult.

Jokanovic was Ranieri's first signing at Chelsea.
Ranieri replaced him as manager at Fulham.
Scott Parker was Ranieri's last signing at Chelsea...
...who is replacing him at Fulham.

    Woah.

Glen Johnson was Ranieri's first signing. Otherwise deeply mysterious.
