aaaand moses just kills an attack that could have seen RLC in for a shot again.

it was after some really fine touches from CHO to get him RLC free.

Been some good performances in there. Willian has had the run of their backline, caused all sorts of problems with his pace. Pedro and Fab not quite on it. Some good work from others though.

would like to see CHO get used a little more. but RLC just dummied a pass to him and then drove in the space, almost pulled off something rather special but just too many bodies.

Kepa just made a really good reaction save on a point blank shot, that came from an over the top pass.

can't save that though, free kick delivery that went all the way around the back with NOBODY picking him up and it's a tap in. switching off a bit here. 3-1

Welp, it wouldn't be Chelsea in 2018/19 if we didn't give the other team a lifeline or ten. Stupid goal to concede.

Great piece of work from Odoi to get into a shooting position, then just skies it.

i say that, just saw some really great footwork from him. in the few times we've seen him, his little roll over drag has already become a staple move to get wide.

Moses, Fabergas both have to go. And both RLC and CHO have to play more. Competition aside, CHO is so direct. RLC and Barkley provide the midfield goal threat we need.

Hard to remember that RLC is only 22.

If Kovacic scored a hat trick we'd praise him. Willian isn't going to score us goals so they'll have to come from midfield.

He's made for midfield. I'm not saying he has to start, but man he can be so good. We need to get more production put of our midfield. Kante isn't going to sit and neither is Jorginho. It's 3 players for 1 spot. That's the conundrum. For me we need the goals. We don't have enough in the side to begin with.

What a strange game, totally dominated, should have scored at least 6 and yet it finished 3-1, funny campaign for us this Europa thingy, completely dominated every game yet a goal difference of only +4 after 3 games and yet practically qualified with 3 from 3 (in a group that should be really bloody easy anyway (no disrespect to the other clubs involved intended)) - I can't make up my mind whether I should be pleased or disappointed!

Be pleased because the fact that we've nearly qualified means we should see more youth, Hudson-Odoi and Ampadu, in the next 3 games Europa league.

Fabregas is in a unique position where he is the only backup to Jorginho. We can't really let him go. If Ampadu recovers and gets some form, I would start playing him but not sure when that will happen.
