The alt-right was trying to show an innocent older man being attacked. Then more photos and unedited videos came out and he was a Nazi and an aggressor.

 

How can I hold the First Amendment dear as the indispensable bulwark between the people and Tyranny, but still say NAZIS are for killing?

 

OK, maybe not killing, but we can settle for a good beat-down that causes lingering pain and injuries that take a couple of months to heal, combined with some expensive medical bills would do...

 

Fairly easily. The First protects speech from government consequences, not from the righteous actions of the victims of that speech.

Talk about a slippery slope! You could substitute the names of a lot of different groups there. On the bright side, people are always talking about what a problem overpopulation is, so this would certainly take care of it...

We know how that ended up. Same thing happened with the rebuplicans, trump and his far right base. You don't placate nazis, you don't try to use them for political gain bacause they will only pull you farther and farther to the right.

You stomp them into the dirt wherever you find them and fight them with any means necessary. There's no such thing as a moderate nazi.

 

You may be too late with that one and if trump does get another term in office. Then it will be too late. He'll be pushing for POTUS for life next.

 

So, nothing still on that (alleged) attack on the journalist? Either way, this should be a big story. Either a journalist got attacked while on the job, in which case the left justifiably should be ripped as the Trumpsters do when threatening the media, or this was an attempted right-wing con job, which should be exposed, and in a big way.
