Two match in Puerto Rico against the Islanders this weekend. The team flew to PR this morning and will be playing the first match on Saturday at 7:30pm EST Not sure how the match thursday effected the team physical. Mentaly it should be a boost. A couple players got subbed early and a few didn't play. Hopefully the Battery can produce as many chances as they did in the last meeting and then put away a few. Here is my guess for the line up Huddock Brunt, Karalexus, Curran, and Crawford Daley, hollingworth, Lazo, Corcoran, armstong, Glinton Battery 1-0 with a goal from hollingsworth. mikey
I thought Lexus looked good during the few minutes he played. I believe his recovery took longer than expected. I like your line up. I would not mind a 4-4-2. Gavin and Ben had some good work together in Atlanta. Coach A has not called in this morning to get my thoughts on the formation, so I can only assume poor connections bet PR and Daniel Island.
got Kick off time wrong its 8:00pm not 7:30 here is link to the audio of the match Battery v. Islanders
I like Ben in mid or up top better than in the back, not that he plays bad back there I just think he has more of an impact on the match going forward. The more I think about it I think I give McKnight the start tonight. he did well and glinton might still have a knock on his foot. No point making it worse. guess well see in a few minutes
Watson down with a groin injury and might return next week against Vancouver Huddock Hollingsowrth, Lexus, Currant, Crawford Daley, Corcoran, Lazo, Vercollone Glinton and Armstrong up top. That is one hella fast line up mikey
Battery defense looks like it a bit out of sorts right now according to Andrew FK to the Battery but nothing comes of it
And its 2-0 to PR Vercollone and Crawford beat and a strike from 25 yard a low bullet that Huddock had now chance. 30 mins in Mikey
Corcoran with a shot but gathered up by the PR GK daley an dLazo making some dangerous runs but cant make much of it. Mikey
Yes Glinton with a diving header, clattered by the PR goalkeeper 2-1 in the 44min Assit from vercollone
Battery FK and as Charleston sets up, the ref blows his whistle HT PR with the majority of chances and the Battery had a really tought 15 min or so. Battery with some good chances in the first 10 min and in the last 5 or so of th half. glad we got one back before the half. Hopefully Auggie can talk to the players and get them reorganized and we can get one back after the half Mikey
