Lets get it started! The Battery's 24th season is upon us and after the NY Cosmo match, I have to say I am pretty excited. The Defense was solid, midfield looked creative and linked well with the forwards and the team looked like a "complete" package. FC Cincinnati has a lot of experienced players and are coached by John Harkes but this is there first ever USL match so who knows what we will get. listening to a podcast out of Cincy, it doesnt sound like a formation much less players are locked down yet. We'll be tailgating in our usual spot this week on the menu, Lowcountry Boil, pork tenderloin, grilled chicken, hot dogs and the usual assortment of sides. We'll be hosting a couple groups as well. Terminus Legion looks like they will be there along with two Cincy groups, and the First City Supporters out of Savannah Looking forward to it!
Yeah, its good to finally get started with real games and points. Hope we don't start this season like last......down 2 goals in the first 20 minutes! Also like to see a few minutes of new arrival Romario Williams but understand if he's not ready to plug in yet. That's cool 2 groups will be there from Cincy, are they traveling from there or fans that live in SC? Here's the preview: Battery vs Cincinnati Preview
both are groups from Cincy, Die Innerstadt and The Pride. Last I heard one group was about 7 and the other was about the same size.
Well, this Ohioan will be cheering for The Battery ! I'll be thinking of you guys tonight, send my best to everyone, especially Dieu. Have fun ! UP THE BATTERY !
That was 3 points stolen, what a way to start, what a debut for Williams, I think we found Dane's (temporary) replacement. We love you Brook, it's just for some reason South Carolians have a burr in their saddle for folks from Ohio, I don't understand, I'm just a hillbilly from Tennessee.

Great article, Mister ! Unlike most Ohioans, I despise Buckeye athletics and that ugly scarlet color. Although, my hometown is "home of the scarlet carnation", the state flower
