Still at home: I cannot find this for the current match but these times should still hold unless you had a daylight savings time change between the last game and this one: the bad, we are down 4 goals: Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Barcelona Feb 14, 2017 UEFA Champions League Barcelona 2-0 Paris Saint-Germain Apr 21, 2015 UEFA Champions League Paris Saint-Germain 1-3 Barcelona Apr 15, 2015 UEFA Champions League Barcelona 3-1 Paris Saint-Germain Dec 10, 2014 UEFA Champions League Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 Barcelona Sep 30, 2014 UEFA Champions Leagu the good, we have been playing well and our last two scorelines at home would suffice (5-0 & 6-1) plus we did this in 2013 which would at least tie things up: http://www.sport-english.com/en/new...reviously-produced-barcelona-camp-nou-5879126 lineup prediction: MATs Umtiti-Pique-Mascherano =====Busi Raki======Ini ====Messi Rafinha-Suarez-Neymar score prediction: 3-1
Busquets is the only Barça player in danger of missing the club's next European match should he get booked in this game.
Found the game time graphic (had to check the official FCB twitter account in Catalan as it was not their English twitter):
The team should play like they got nothing to lose and they might have a chance. History proof Barca has 4-0 victory despite losing the first leg without away goal. They also had 7-1 victory some years ago, not impossible to take this one at least to a shootout.
This would be mission impossible but we do have Messi. If he somehow gets the support from the team and can link to the midfield then nothing is impossible. To come back from such defeat never happened in UCL history but we have done it in CDR 4 times.
Best hope is to bow out of the CL with a fighting spirit. Say a 2-goal win. That would help keep the momentum going forward towards the aim of a 3rd straight domestic double. Nobody has done that before. Only Barca and Bilbao have even come close and those efforts were both more than 60 years ago (well, I guess one could argue Barca came close in 2014-16 => fell two games short)!
PSG is too organized, too in form, with a coach that knows us well. We have to play a perfect match, like they did in Paris. We need to make them look as bad as we did in Paris. Plus, it will help if we're lucky. Like, we're going to be playing way up, taking chances with sending Pique and Umtiti forward. Cavani may have a field day, but he's also been known to go totally cold and miss chances by the bucketload. The most plausible way we pull this is out is with the help of an early red card, like one of those situations where the GK gets a red and a PK. And however just that red card might be, people will cry out UEFAlona because haters gotta hate. Screw 'em. Realistically, I see us scoring a goal or even two getting everyone's hopes up, getting the Camp Nou rocking for awhile, then time will run out and/or they'll score a cheap goal on the counter. I'd almost be satisfied with that kind of effort. Anything more is gravy.
Before the first leg Emery had coached against Barca on 23 occasions. His record: won 1, drawn 6, lost 16. The only victory was in October 2015, 2-1 at home in La Liga. Barcelona played without Messi and Iniesta on that occasion. A cynic would suggest that Barca played without both players in the PSG first leg as well. Emery has coached against Barca at Camp Nou 11 times. His teams lost all eleven games. The scorelines vary. With Almeria... 28-10-2007 : 2-0 Liga With Valencia... 06-12-2008 : 4-0 Liga 14-03-2010 : 3-0 Liga 16-10-2010 : 2-1 Liga 08-02-2012 : 2-0 Copa 19-02-2012 : 5-1 Liga With Spartak Moscow... 19-09-2012 : 2-1 Champions With Sevilla... 23-02-2013 : 2-1 Liga 14-09-2013 : 3-2 Liga 22-11-2014 : 5-1 Liga 28-02-2016 : 2-1 Liga
We are going to play a 3 4 3. Umtiti pique masche Busquets Messi. Alba Iniesta Rafinha. Suarez. Neymar
Well, Barca won 3-0 because Bayern desperately needed an away goal. The last Barca goal was pure counter-attack. Would never have happened against a team parking the bus/protecting a lead like PSG will be.
Only surprise is Denis sits (Vidal, Mathieu, and Masip the others but that's two injuries and a 3rd GK), not that I expected Denis to play: The full squad is: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Sergi Roberto, Umtiti, Mascherano, Piqué, Digne, Jordi Alba, Busquets, Iniesta, Rakitic, Rafinha, André Gomes, Arda Turan, Messi, Neymar, Luis Suárez, Alcácer. On their side Motta said to miss out, Rabiot and di Maria nursing injuries but should be ready to play. Good "locker room material" to motivate Barca, Domenech's scathing assessment: http://www.sport-english.com/en/new...arcelona-and-leo-messi-ahead-psg-game-5883735
Well I'm working and 383 miles north, but I bet you can find a ton of football fans at Lucky Baldwins in Pasadena?
Awesome, that's my go to place for any big Barcelona games. I was supposed to go with a friend but he flaked. I'm sure it'll be packed. Hopefully I see a few of you guys there

It was hard for us to score vs PSG WITHOUT Thiago Silva!! Now he's back!! I said to myself I wasn't going to watch this game, but shit as a Brazil fan if I forced my self to watch the rest of the 7-1, then I can see us go out for this one!! I'm predicting a 3-1 loss!!
Wow, I got the prediction right it seems: On bench: Cillessen, Arda, Paco Alcácer, Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, Gomes Barcelona have won their last 14 CL games at Camp Nou (44 goals scored, 6 conceded), all since Luis Enrique took charge. [opta]
As long as we score a few goals in a win (say 3-1), I can't say I'll be too disappointed if we get knocked out.
