We badly need Ronaldo to find his previous sharpness in terms of finishing. Imagine how many goals he would have this season if he wasn't so off in terms of his finishing touch. Obviously this draw is tough as hell, but we thought the same during the Decima run so the team just has to raise its level.

I just took the stats from whoscored.com UCL page but extrapolated just those two teams

IMO in order to get a result against Bayern we will need the "team" to be switched on from the first minute till the the last of the tie, not just two players

Yep, basically the same thing that happened with Bayern and Barca the year after that..where Barca played the 1st leg first and thrashed them in the tie. Or even in 2013; when Bayern played the 1st leg first with them thrashing Barca this time (7-0 on agg.). Basically you're better off playing home first if it's two big teams facing off..

Robben is definitely more talented and a better dribbler especially in tight spaces but Bale is a more complete player as he's more of a goal threat. He's also wicked in the air.

Robben is a proper winger while Bale is essentially Ronaldo-lite.

Wanted any other draw, but since it's against the team I hate the most. Lets get it. 50-50 with minor details settling who goes through. A tie between us also means a tons of goals, so this should be footy porn for everyone else. I hope we smash you, even though there's a few weaknesses that I can see you guys exposing due to your playing style. Best news this season is we haven't lost by more than 1 goal this season though, so we're tough to beat.

I'm more worried about Ancelotti than the Bayern team tbh. Shit will be so intense, arse cheeks clenched from start to finish.

Ancelotti will have a easy task shutting down the BBC. Hopefully no bbc in both games

They certainly can be unstoppable. On their day there is nothing you can do stop them. Lets hope they show up big in the CL.

real beat bayern 5-0 on aggregate and morata alone destroyed bayern last year until he was subbed off (though of course benzema has been in epic useless form for the past 6 years why make it too easy) eventhough they had the same players more or less, the main enemy and difference this time is ancelotti and honestly we couldnt have wished for a worst manager leading that bayern team

I dont wanna be pessimistic but i really can see us getting destroyed by robben and lewandowski if the back 2 and marcelo dont stay alert
