    I will translate the word "foe" for you: it means "enemy". From Italy, I happen to support Inter (probably for longer than you).

    But let's agree to disagree: Inter's attack is better than Barca's if Messi is not playing. Can we move on now?

    You are no one to dictate how one should show support for their team
    You were incorrect about what you assumed, and instead of letting it be or being sorry you instead criticize

    You are getting very close

    It's very clear this conversation has run it's course so let's move on to something else and bring this thread back on course.

    So after a pitiful game vs Catania the team really needs to pick itself up
    we had a good amount of the starters and yet most of them played mediocre or poor
    the lack of making more than 3 passes is evident when sneijder is not playing
    thankfully he is fit and hungry to start vs Lille

    Goalkeepers: 1 Julio Cesar, 12 Luca Castellazzi, 21 Paolo Orlandoni;

    Defenders: 6 Lucio, 13 Maicon, 16 Luca Caldirola, 26 Cristian Chivu, 37 Davide Faraoni, 42 Jonathan, 55 Yuto Nagatomo;

    Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 8 Thiago Motta, 10 Wesley Sneijder, 11 Ricky Alvarez, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 20 Joel Obi, 48 Lorenzo Crisetig;

    Strikers: 7 Giampaolo Pazzini, 22 Diego Milito, 28 Mauro Zarate.

    the only thing that worries me is what hazard can do to our defense which will be missing Samuel and Cordoba which means Chivu will most likely start along side Lucio
    our defense will be under pressure and hopefully we stop conceding so many goals
    Lille has been somewhat in form and will have most of their starters

    Im banking on CSKA getting 3 points vs Trabzonspor which should keep the group tight in case we lose or draw

    I'm really hoping for a good game, so many interesting head to head matches
    today

    line ups

    Inter: 1 Julio Cesar; 13 Maicon, 6 Lucio, 26 Chivu, 55 Nagatomo; 4 Zanetti, 8 Thiago Motta, 19 Cambiasso; 10 Sneijder; 7 Pazzini, 28 Zarate.
    Subs: 12 Castellazzi, 16 Caldirola, 42 Jonathan, 5 Stankovic, 20 Obi, 48 Crisetig, 22 Milito.

    Lille: 16 Enyama; 2 Debuchy, 25 Basa, 22 Chediou, 18 Beria; 4 Balmont, 24 Mavuba, 17 Pedretti; 26 Cole, 8 Sow, 10 Hazard.
    Subs:30 Mouko, 5 Gueye, 7 Payet, 11 Obrianiak, 14 Rozehnal, 21 Bonmart, 27 Jelen.

    I feel more secure with out line up today, but the 3 forwards of hazard, Cole and Sow have me a bit on edge

    Looking more comfortable after the 30th
    Lille could have equalized once or twice but then turned stale
    the lead up and the goal was ecstatic

    Half time Inter 1-0 Lille

    Well we held on, good for our defense to hold and keep a clean sheet
    On the game itself, personally I think with a bit more creativity Lille could have equalized
    the first half was more evenly matched, second half we just chased to defend and let Lille control most of the possession
    but a win is a win, we can start building from this

    Lille didn't impress me at all. I'm sure some of that is due to your boys' work, though. Good result for Inter and really wishing they hadn't mailed it in against Trabzonspor, or whatever.

    defensively yeah we held them off for periods of time, but man does our counter attack need work
    hopefully with sneijder now healthy and zarate getting more comfortable we can really cause harm on the break

    CSKA won 3-0 over Trabz
    so the group looks like this
    Inter-6
    CSKA -4
    Trabzonspor-4
    Lille-2
    next game on Nov.2 vs Lille at home

    I don't think I have to analyze this game, just show up, play like the first half of the last game and win
    call up
    Goalkeepers: 12 Luca Castellazzi, 21 Paolo Orlandoni, 72 Riccardo Melgrati;

    Defenders: 6 Lucio, 23 Andrea Ranocchia, 25 Walter Samuel, 26 Cristian Chivu, 37 Davide Faraoni, 42 Jonathan;

    Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 8 Thiago Motta, 10 Wesley Sneijder, 11 Ricky Alvarez, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 20 Joel Obi, 48 Lorenzo Crisetig;

    Forwards: 7 Giampaolo Pazzini, 22 Diego Milito, 28 Mauro Zarate.

    Wall, Frog and Faraoni are back in the list and any of the three will be a step up in CB over chivu
    however there is no maicon(rested?) or nagatomo so still expect to see chivu in LB,
    midfield is looking healthy again though still would like to see Poli get healthy enough to add something...

    in any case, we need to keep pushing to get out of this slump and try to finish on the right foot until the end of winter
    oh and good luck Napoli :)

    Nice Header by Samuel after coming back from injury, currently its 1-0
    we played well for the first 10-15 mins, after the goal we took the foot of the pedal but Lille have only created 2 good chances
    you can see our team trying to click which is good, just need to finish that final pass
