Lol what was he thinking with that kick on Costa... clueless right there, deserved red.

Solid from us I guess. Still struggling to create chances, not looking very threatening but not looking bad.

What is it with us and Red Cards in the CL? We have gone to sleep expecting the other team to allow us to do whatever we want.

    Just lack any killer instinct.

that red card was pretty classic costa, in that not best way imo. ben haim should never have done that but you could clearly see it was a reaction to costa reaching back (to hold off the defender) but he clearly catches ben haim in the face. not saying it was deliberate, but i'm not saying it wasn't either.

Willian has officially entered Zola free-kick territory. So consistent you almost expect those to go in every time he steps up to a free kick.

    Willian free kicks
    Own Goals
    corners
    quick restarts

Can anyone recall the last time we scored just a straight up goal? I remember Ram and Matic both having long distance efforts and there was also the time keeper thru the ball directly to Willian who passed to Costa for open net

How Costa gets another 90 minutes is baffling.

I suppose you could argue he's been an effective batterng ram but not, y'know... much of a threat on goal.

At least we are getting them in one way or another, but it seemed a perfect chance to pile on a few

So worst case scenario now that a draw vs Porto gets us in : Jose plays super defensive and Porto gets a late one ?

oh man, heavy challenge. i feel for remy, he's been in a good position to finish twice and right before his clash costa didn't pass to him again and i think that's why he went in for the header. kind of out of frustration and wanting to prove he's worthy of a start.

Full credit to Willian man... his freekicks have been a revelation.

Still no killer instinct from our guys though. This has been a consistent problem... is it the set up, the players or what?

Porto will be going for it. Won't be easy. We really wanted Porto to win.

    Did we?

Well, I suppose it would guarantee us going through but, tbh, if we've having to look for that kind of route we're not going to get anywhere anyway.

I'd prefer this way, with a chance of topping the group and avoiding the better clubs.

I was certainly not hoping for Porto to win today. A win or a draw at home on Dec 9th and we avoid the big clubs moving forward.
