Agreed. So close from Michy there! CHO should have played that in to Tammy - he's really pressing hard to get a goal. Hold on, 4 minutes? How?
Plus side - we'll now be above Ajax due to head-to-head results. Sky Sports are reporting Ajax as top of the group but that's definitely not correct - head-to-head comes before goal difference.
I dunno man, they played us off the park for the first hour. A lot of the damage was self-inflicted sure, but either way the gap between them and us for 60 minutes was vast. All things considered, I'll take the draw
Well we have to get a point against valencia but fortunately its away from home where we are better. What a mad game that was. Highly entertaining.
Yeah I won't quibble with that necessarily. Just don't think Ajax deserved to lose, all things considered. Overall, they played more good football than us (given that the last 30 minutes were some other kind of game I'm not familiar with )
Are sure? I remember them going on about it the first week or two where City had the extremely suspect result against the Spurs.
Well, this team has more fight than any Chelsea team we've seen in some time, that's for sure.. Just need to direct that fight into not giving the ball away constantly and then having to.. you know.. come back from 4-1 down.
Yeah, they played an advantage and he was intending to bring the game back to give him a yellow card, his second. Until he'd checked whether he'd had the first yellow he wasn't going to stop the game. But as the advantage was being played out the second offense occurred, the 'handball', and that meant another yellow, (another second), and the penalty. I mean, if the 'handball', which I thought was a little harsh, wasn't given then it also wouldn't have been a penalty. Of course, if they hadn't already got the first yellow cards, the sending off's wouldn't have occurred,
