Red Star Belgrade haven't been in the CL for over 20 years, so that will be no easy pushover either.

Still we have the players to have a crack at this thing.

We prob play PSG first..... right?

Not an easy group but it should be fun.

Definitely a difficult group. We should be favorites to go through, but it will be far from easy and put a major strain on our squad.

City, meanwhile, can play their reserves and still win their group. It’s an advantage to them in the title race.

The UEFA awards were a waste of time, as they gave every single one of them to a Madrid player.

    GK: Navas
    DF: Ramos
    MF: Modric
    FW: Ronaldo

And Modric beats Salah for player of the year.

Fingers crossed they have that trip to Shaktar in the midweek before we play them.

Definitely the strongest group imo . We're certainly capable of qualifying but so are PSG and Napoli . Red Star are a bit of an unknown quantity and may well be difficult too. Still all told I expect some more brilliant European nights at Anfield for the group stages as we spread our wings again.

We definitely will have to play strong squads for almost all of the games. Napoli without Sarri might be a little easier than previously.

This. Tuchel is a bottler. Rabiot is a Red. We can definitely get points in those matches.

We battered Napoli in pres-season, but apparently they were behind us in training so who knows what that counts for. New manager, different system. We'll see how they go.

Belgrade seems like a good old school tie.

We now have the squad to dog these away games if we want to. Play a midfield 4 of Fabinho, Hendo, Gini and Keita, with Salah and Firmino up top. Take the 0-0 if we have to.

This isn’t a Group of Death.

We should be beating Red Star Home & Away.

We should be beating Napoli and PSG at Home.

That’s 12 points and we should comfortably qualify.

We get the Glamour tie we all yearned for last year in Paris and Tuchel will attack us and you know how that can End.

We are Liverpool and European Royalty and If Napoli and Red Star Belgrade constitute a group of Death,we are setting the bar really really low.

It's not an easy group but its one we should def come out on top of. PSG is hit or miss and Napoli played strong throughout all of last year in league play if they bring that they could put up a fight. I'd be surprised if we dont come out of the group stages on top.

No walk in the park but we can get through this group and with a tougher draw expectations can be better managed. Agree this will be a stern test of our squad and Klopp's ability to manage multiple competitions.
