    Fox didnt win the bid?

Of the 340 annual Champions League and Europa League matches that Turner acquired — games that have become a midweek afternoon staple for American fans — only about 60 will appear on television, mostly on truTV. The semifinals and finals of the Champions League will air on either TNT or TBS, as will the Europa League final.

They are charging 80 dollars to watch the whole CL campaign for streamings or 3 bux a match, or 10 bux a month

It is such a dishonest bit, they only did it to price gouge customers.

I guess fox blew their load on the world cup, but after selling to disney, they should be flush in cash. I think this is going to hurt them in long run.

Hope it does hurt them in the short and long term. That is a ridiculous sum to watch the Champions League.

The Fox/Disney deal still isn't done, so they don't have the money from that yet.

The blame should be with UEFA since they agreed to sell the rights to Turner. They shouldn't have gone with an unknown broadcaster for football. The B/R app that you have to watch the games on just launched recently and it's complete garbage.

    Well it figures.

The year we win the CL we will only get to see the semis and the final.

Looks like futbol other than the Prem is going the way of boxing in this country.

Guys if you don't mind Spanish commentary, Univision channels will carry most the matches for no extra charge if you have their networks, they will even have matches on their 2 OTA channels for free. Honestly f*** Turner for their business model.

    https://www.si.com/soccer/2018/08/0...utm_campaign=si-soccer&utm_source=twitter.com

"Univision will carry 137 Champions League matches live across its platforms, 97 of which will air on its linear networks – Univision, Univision Deportes Network (UDN), UniMás and Galavisión. As a linear comparison, TNT is believed to show 46 matches. The other advantage is that non-linear matches will be available for free on digital and if you have a cable subscription and the network is included in your package, you will be able to watch every game digitally via its app or the website. If not, fans can still have access to selected non-linear matches for free, whether you have cable subscription or not. "

If you have Univision you can watch games on there, they'll be shows a lot of live games throughout the tournament. 3 times more than Turner will.

So there no longer is any need for me to carry either the beIN or FoxSports Go apps. Now to figure out if there is a Univision app that does the trick.
