Seems like Freiburg finished the season on a high note, only if Cha was more involved...
Is he fit enough to play against Ecuador?

Freiburg director Dirk Dufner says Cha wants to go to Korea. Freiburg won't be extending his contract. It remains to be seen where he will play next season.

Wonder what happened if anything at Freiburg? Started the vast majority of matches and even scored a goal, I think the winner, early in the season.

Cha duri seriously exhausted Bundesliga. He should attempt to join another European league. If he doesn't make it... why not come play in K-league.

i'm not too familiar with his situation, but isn't cha du-ri pretty much comfortable with germany? he was born in frankfurt and i imagine he spent a lot of his childhood there since his father played there till 1989... and he's spent his entire pro career since 2002 there as well. here's him conversing comfortably with a german interviewer:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmNbZJ0DexE&feature=related"]YouTube- Cha Du-Ri speaking german[/ame]

so i don't think it's worth it for him to seek out other euro leagues at this point... if he can play regularly at mid table bundesliga clubs, i think that's great.

He bounced around various clubs in Bundesligue and even played in Bundesligue 2nd division. I don't think clubs will want him considering he's only a bench player now.

If he performs well in the world cup who knows what will happen.

I have a feeling that many clubs will be interested after this WC. If you look at the first game it would be a waste if he transfered to a korean club.

Cha has enough intelligence and precision, plus outstanding speed, work ethic, and physicality. He is a more than deserving consistent starter.

    Intelligence, wrong.

    Precision, wrong.

    Work ethic, wrong.

I don't doubt he's our starter, but you guys are just attaching random praises to his name for the sake of praising him.

Anyways, Sky, I thought you were one of Cha Duri's biggest fans. What happened?

    hihi,

    Based on what? You????

Intelligence, work ethic, precision -- those are all relative values. For example, we do not have some objective IQ standard -- we are comparing players to each other. So it is chickensht to say "wrong". How is it "wrong", and more importantly, who is "right".

Just 'cause you can type doesn't mean you're meant to waste people's time.

He has only played as a back for a season or two now right? I would say thats pretty impressive given the adjustment having to be made from a F/MF to a RB. I'm curious to see what he can do if he continues to be given opportunities as a defender. By 2014 WC he would be 34 and if he can keep his above average speed until then... I would like to continue to see him at RB.

Nope. If he does not impress during training, then he will not see any playing time
