Camerunés Emana, quinto y último refuerzo de Cruz Azul Hell yeah. Good for Chemos going after non South American talent for once. Only thing is that he's 31 and is coming from the middle east.
Losing to Puebla would have been a real downer. After a little more than a third of Apertura, Rojas has been the highlight. Don't know what was up with Chaco but that was not a good game for him. Maybe he's saving himself for the game vs. Honduras. I also really like Amione and Napoles. This may be the year when all the new acquisitions actually work out.
Both the Queretaro match and the match against the Haitian team were utter snore fests. Chaco had another bad game - that makes two in a row and I'm really hoping this had more to do with his call-up to La Seleccion (although that really shouldn't be an excuse) as opposed to him not being totally healthy. Maybe the change in venue affected the team but they should be playing better than that at home vs Queretaro - a team notorious for their few scoring chances. Torrado gifted Queretaro the PK and really, from that point on we seemed to be toast.
Yeah the game was unwatchable. Plus the security around the stadium was crap and fights broke out among the fans. I haven't heard much from it during the week but the talking heads on Picante wanted sanctions.
I'm glad that for some reason or another I have missed all but one of Cruz Azul's games... I would've developed an ulcer by now.
Thought we were going to lose points again but the young keeper delivered. Emana looked O.K. in his first minutes of the season. He could have scored a goal but choked.
after he choked he seemed to give up no? hopefully, he isnt here just for a paycheck and wants to play Anyways, 1 great play by Pavone to give us the tie, then good positioning by Pavone and Castro to give us the win I honestly thought we would tie after than penal was called
error tras error tras error.... We always seem to be falling behind and then trying to claw back into games. At this point I have no clue what the heck is going on. Can't say they aren't playing hard but something's not clicking. Chaco is still not playing his best games. Maybe he needs a bit of rest. I've not seen much from Formica, hopefully he'll get into rhythm soon 'cause were more than halfway to the end of this and being in seventh place is not a good thing. We have an away match at Tijuana next. A fast field. Even though Tijuana is not what they were last season, they can be pretty tough at home.
Barrera's operation apparently went well. Definitely out for 6 months....again. http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/mexico/noticias/2013/09/20/pablo-barrera-fue-operado-con-exito
Agreed. It was of those games where you just knew you were not going to score and you just keep hoping for the end to come. On the other hand, how about that Emana and his 3 goal night. Would be nice if this were a sign of things to come. We need the power up front. Still hoping they can figure this out and not get an early exit at the Liguilla stage, assuming we get there.
I couldn't watch this game. I saw everyone just walking around the field and it disgusted me. Facken bunch of lazy people. Switched channels after 10 minutes.
