Great weekend. 3 of our last 9 points secured, 6 more to capture.

Rangers drop 2 points. We win our last two and we need one final slip up by them.

    God is good!

If Rangers draws one more game like they did this morning with Hibernian, the title is ours with wins in our last two games (assuming our goal differential advantage of eight holds up).

Incredible. Still a long way to go but just to be in the position we're in is remarkable.

it is, but Rangers are struggling at the minute.

it's now six games they have gone without a win or if you like, only four wins in their last fifteen games.

    they're showing signs of cracking.

    keep up the pressure

a fully deserved three points today, without the help of outside influences.

Happy Days comrades. We have to win one more game, Rangers need to win 3.

If they pull it off, then so be it, but this season came to life again in spectacular fashion.

Frustrating though, all those daft points we dropped.

Indeed! After Rangers dropped 2 more points (1:1 in Motherwell), we have realistic chances to make the huge sensation!!:)

A last win in Dundee (it won't be easy, though) ... and Rangers will have to make up 6 points and at least 9 goals in their last 2 games!

Damn, I never thought this would be ever possible after our last home defeat against Motherwell...

But they might beat them 5:0 ... and Aberdeen 4:0.

    Well, I don't think so. ;)

I think it's going to be three in a row for us. I think Celtic are going to be playing with their heart and guts for Mr Tommy Twist and Turn. I think Dundee United will play hard with pride but i think we are wanting this more than ever now.

I can see Rangers winning their remaining games though Aberdeen could do us a favour by beating or drawing with them again. However i can't see them making up that amount of goals and keeping clean sheets.

I think this is our year again and with us catching form again let's hope for a good summer window and a brilliant next season. Let's do it for Tommy, Bhoys!

    Hail Hail...

the last time we won the league at Tannadice the year was 1981.

who scored the winning goal for Celtic that day...?

    Tommy Burns.

So we're starting with a 4-goal-advantage into the last season game in Dundee. If you told that to me a few weeks ago, i'd have called you crazy! ;)

A last win now ... and we should make the sensation! :)

    C'mon the Hoops!!!

    Dundee Utd v Celtic - Thursday 22nd May - 7:45pm KO

well this is it. 90mins away from three in a row. the players must focus now. it's been difficult over the last week and the strain on the younger players especially could be seen on Tuesday.

however we need one more effort to get us over the line. i'm sure that any sort of win will guarantee us the title, and what a sweet success it would be.

think back to the last game at Ibrox. the 1-0 defeat followed by a home match against Motherwell which brought another 1-0 loss. almost everyone thought it was all over. the bookies had us at 12-1 after that game to win the title. yet here we are.

the team picks itself at the minute. bar maybe 1 spot. Lee Naylor or Mark Wilson at left back? for this game i'd put Mark in. he knows Tannadice better than most being an ex-Utd player. the rest of the team will pick itself for certain. Boruc will be between the sticks. McManus and the much improved Gary Caldwell in central defence with Hinkel at right back.

Aiden and Naka will provide the flair and the guile. Naka has a good scoring record on Tayside. Paul Hartley has grown into the defensive midfield role.

Skippy is scoring goals again and the big dutchman is winning more and more personal duels with his opposing centre half.

which leaves one man. what a homecoming for Barry Robson. he, more than most, has helped us get to this position. he's been a standout in the last 6 wins. he's had many reasons to smile over the years on this pitch. hopefully by 9:45pm tomorrow night he'll have his biggest and widest smile yet etched on his face.

    C'mon the hoops!!

Damn, I'm so excited! ;) Hopefully we won't suffer the same fate as it happened at Fir Park some years ago...

However, we should have a mental advantage this time after making up such a huge lag! Our players could realize a little wonder ... and I really hope they will give their very best in order to win this championship for Tommy Burns!

    C'mon the Hoops!!!

PS: How many Celts will be in Dundee tonight? I hope that at least half of the stadium is in our hands! Who from this forum is going to attend the game?

Well, you can never be sure ... but normally, you should be right! Rangers winning 5:0 in Aberdeen would be almost incredible.

tried and tried to get a ticket for two weeks now without success.

so it's the pub for me.

Celtic won't have half the stadium as it's a normal away game although there are bound to be hoops fans in the Utd areas. if caught though they've been told they'll be ejected immediately.
