Personally I hope for an actual good game. Not a one sided thrashing.

I'd be happy with a 1-0 and one of our guys dropkicking Costa in his troglodyte face.

ATM defence is not something we should worry of..We never expect a clean sheet anyways..

I also worry about our defence.. but if our forwards are on form (Cristiano only would be enough maybe) then we'll get away with it.

Falcao if he is off to Monaco will try to do everything to win this cup before he goes, he worries me slightly.

    But we got this.

Don't get too cocky no matter how many times we beat Pathetico, This cup is worth much considering we knocked Barca at the semis and have the chance to bang Pathetico at the final, can't ask for more in a CDR run :D.

We also faced Valencia too right? so essentially knocking out the top 3/4 of Spain on the way to the cup.. nobody can argue if we win it tonight.

This cup is worth exactly what it's been worth forever...not much, let's not get it twisted. No one will "argue" because no one cares and in the off chance we lose they still wouldn't argue but just point and laugh instead. But a cup final is a cup final and it's in our stadium so we need to win. But the cup's "worth" hasn't change, it's a rather mediocre concession prize in a season filled with "what could've been..."

That said, let's thrash these mofos :D

Of course I'd rather we win it, but it's a booby prize. It will hardly define our season either way.

I dunno for a worthless cup, even after a decade the Depor loss still leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Just like a loss to Barca in a final would leave a bitter taste, especially at home but it has nothing to do with the value of the cup. And I never said it was worthless.

It's obviously a consolation prize. But this is a much bigger negative if we lose than positive if we win.

If we lose to Athletico in the Bernabeu for the first time since 1999, and have them celebrate with a trophy on our pitch, that will be absolutely awful. Can't let that happen.

Good thing i saw this thread or else i would've forgotten the game due to exams.

Let's win this 3-0, an Özil goal and 2 goals (one of them from FK) from Ronny :D
