The Santos/PRI game has great entertainment value. Seriously, it's getting hilarious now.

Also, there's a pond in the bottom of the screen. Hah, great stuff.

Well to start off its been raining like crazy...Hurricane like rain. The field is in terrible conditions. There were quite literally lakes on the field. The ball did not even roll on the field. This game should have been postponed, or something. A very unfair game IMO

It was basically the same way when Puerto Rico played against Honduras in the WCQ's in Honduras. If nobody complained about that game being played I don't see why there was a problem with this one.

This game could have easily ended with 5 goals or more for the Islanders. Their keeper came up big on a few occasions and for some reason we took the foot off the gas when they got the red card.

  13. Is not our fault that PR didn't complained...

Cielito Lindo is what Mexican fans usually sing when the other team is being upset by their team.

Anyway, did anyone else see late in the second half when one of the Santos players slipped way off the ball all by himself and got a huge laugh from the crowd...which he then stood up pissed and immediately went in for a hard tackle on one of the PR players that had the ball and failed miserably just passing by like if he were on a slip n' slide?
haha! I thought that was great. :D

If you didn't think that match wasn't the most fun match in the tournament, there is something wrong with your sense of humor. I'm a Santos fan, and my first club is in the league with the Islanders and I still had a great time watching that match. What fun! good on the Islanders though, they are doing the USL1 proud.

Yesturdays game is a perfect example on why Mexican teams dont take it as serious as Conmebol tourneys. It was impossible to play soccer on that pool they called field. The ball wouldnt roll let alone bounce, how can you expect a team to play soccer. What I saw was an eleven a side beach soccer game without the beach.

What happend yesturday was a fluke that Im sure anybody with any soccer knowledge knows would have never happpend if they actually played in a semi good field.

Concacaf gets pissed cause Mexican teams dont take their starters to play in this tourney, well this is why they dont. This tourney is not well organized, theirs teams that have to play in adifferent country cuz they dont have a suitable stadium to play on and they let a soccer game be played in hurricane like weather where its impossible to play soccer. Playing games like that is dangerous to the players and should hve been postponed.
