Marathon will regret not beating saprissa and finishing second in the quarters when they get beat by a mexican club.

seeing Santos beat Marathon in the quarters will be just 2 sweet

I'm surprised this topic hasn't gotten more posts right before the game. MoRado's got to be interested. If Deportivo Saprissa loses and is eliminated they can look back on dropping points to D.C. United. It looks like Galavision just said the Fourth Official is from Honduras. Should that be allowed considering one of the clubs is from Honduras? How important is the Fourth Official anyway?

4th official being a local has been pretty common in this tournament, Houston had an American 4th official in their game against Pumas.

    El Monstruo Verde!

It's nice to see another Honduran team besides Olimpia doing well in international competitions.

I'm rooting for them. (along with Montreal)

    lol

So Cruz Azul qualifies along with Marathón. Good thing the "Cementeros" advanced because I predicted them to win the whole thing, would've been embarrassing if they didn't make it out of the group stage.

well saprissa lost this thing in costa rica when they didnt beat d.c united......sadly from the begginning of the game saprissa was playing for a draw against marathon...once they got scored on they were like what happened.....so sadly not to surprise they lost, saprissa and la liga pure failure, hopefully they can recover...Good luck to marathon, i could see why you guys gave cruz azul such a hard time ( sorry i dont watch this tournament, now that saprissa is out there is no point watching a mexican team is most likey winning this...........we need some better defenders also that joke of a defence has got too go!!!!!
