I have to say that I do support catania when they play against every team in serie a, except Palermo. I do support all sicilian teams but Palermo is my number one; ive been following them since the Luca Toni days when they were in serie b, before they got promoted to serie a. I know many palermo supporters who only noticed the team when they got promoted. I also do have a soft spot for Akragas Calcio which is a team in agrigento, where I have family. Although I am also half Tuscan, I have not been following closely Tuscan teams, although i do wish them well especially against giants like Juve any day and Inter. It is great to see many sicilian soccer supporters on this thread especially since that I am not surrounded by many where i live; everyone hear loves the big teams. And I am proud to say that being a huge supporter, I have close to 7 Palermo jerseys, 3 catania jerseys, 2 messina jerseys, a siracusa jersey, a trapani jersey, and soon I will add the akragas shirt to my huge collection!
thats awsome. honestly it doesnt matter how shit your team is as long as you get that warm feeling when you watch them play. Mate you live in the wrong city, come to melbourne and especially my suburb/region and every second person is sicillian. Do you know anymore sicilian posters on here if so, encourage them to be active on here, southern italian soccer is more fun to talk about then northern italian soccer, and southern culture in general.

Well boys, it seems like we will be in Serie C for one more season, after all we had that 9 point penalty. I hope we can bounce back to B. The team is going to need to get some players from abroad since the Catania farm system isn't the greatest.
We need to bring Back Sebastian Leto... just kidding. But we do need to find some promising youth players which we can use to build the Team back up. Kinda like Palermo has done with Dybala.
