You know, it would help if ESPN Deportes had an option for HD. I can't stand stretching the picture so it can fit the whole TV.

Well, Castillo has been decent going forward but still a little slow getting back to to defend. Game should be more interesting in the 2nd half.

It'll be interesting to see who gets off the bench first, Arriola or Corona?

I've watched quite a bit of Castillo at Tijuana, and this first half is definitely not representative of his abilities going forward. Way too many giveaways and a couple of hospital balls. None of his moves were coming off. He's usually a major disruptive force going forward, but nothing's really worked for him this far. He's had some nice touches keeping possession and a good ball or two down the wing, though. Defensively, I thought he's looked pretty solid cutting off passes and sprinting back late in the half to kill an attack. Hope for better in the second half, along with an appearance from his fellow gringos to liven the Xolos attack.

Hate to say it but a lot of the fault for that Santos goal is on Castillo. He pushed WAY forward into the opposing box then when TJ turned it over he was WAY out of position and Tijuana lost its shape as the rest of the backs scrambled to cover that space.

BTW, TJ absolutely sucks at holding onto late leads.

He was playing right mid but when Castillo was out of position everyone slid left and Arriola dropped back.

Castillo has to up his game and Arriola needs to work on keeping possession of the ball.

IMO TJ need some better CM's to help keep possession. They struggled mightly to win the battle in the center of the park, especially the last 30 mins. Both wide players seemed to get stranded, forcing them to make errant/wild/difficult passes. From what I saw, Arriola still has a bit of a kids body and can get pushed off the ball a bit easy, but with time he'll get stronger on the ball, he is only 18.

When I saw the goal, my thought was that Arriola fell asleep on the far post-- kind of mistake a youngster makes and if he's smart about improving, he won't make that mistake again. I thought the guy played very well and certainly showed their is something special about his talent.
