Concerned about Seb Anderson with the start over Mezquida or Serna...but Casey’s pushed a lot of the right buttons so far so we’ll see how things go.
Watching LA derby recorded last night -- still recording B-ball B-s on Altitude so guessing another delay. Hoping its not a spoiler for anyone at almost 24 hours ago but Ibrahimovic with two goal of the week candidates with a headed goal between them that many players couldn't have made for a Ferrari Hat Trick TM . And now a mass confrontation -- if you have a chance to see this one I would rate it many stars. Now Rapids game 'on' 3rd minute 0 - 0. Fearing no Kei ... no party.
I’m guessing because Nicholson isn’t quite full match fit yet and still coming back from his injury. That’s the only reason I can think. Because otherwise it’s inexplicable.
Another part of it might be that Casey might also like the 2nd unit push. Mezquida has been consistently used in that role even in the case of injuries and suspensions.
Defense caught off balance there with an attacker alone on the D's left but they recovered with better numbers compared to earlier in the season when that would have been a goal.
The Rapids need to recover more quickly after losing possession. Their reaction seems to be sluggish, and that could prove costly. NYCFC has too many attacking options and the Rapids' back line is too iffy for that sloppiness.
Looks like it. Play has been almost entirely in the Rapids half; when they get it back NYC wins it back on the press pretty quickly.
