This is going through my head right now but I can't. Watch the last two goals in that video.. pure magic
Vela has actually carried teams on his back not like other ppls that do tap ins,The hate for him is funny. His life has always been football since he was young and now hes at an age when he feels like retirement in the mls is the best for him and his family..More power to him,When cheech cant get off the bench at westham and retires to the mls I see certain people changing their tune..
I think the hate comes from the fact that the talent is so natural in Vela that people are angered that he isn't more ambitious about football. I don't think we've ever had a player with his capacity before, not in the way that it comes so naturally to him. I mean this is all opinion on our part we don't know that he didn't really try, but he has said he doesn't like futbol. Didn't help that fvcking Arshavin was given all the time in the world at Arsenal. I've never understood the whole "tap-ins thing." If it's so easy then why don't more players do it? You're telling me teams would rather not win games than have their strikers score and ugly tap in? Se pasan.
The tap in's thing was just a b.s. comment because I've noticed the main ppl always belittling Vela praise and worship cheech,I actually love the guy and the way he plays but I can't stand his fangirls..
This x 1,000,000 Vela reminds me of Alex Moran from Blue Mountain State. Great talented player with an extremely high ceiling, but always remaining content and lacking motivation to achieve greatness

It's too bad the Barcelona thing fell through. Boateng is probably going to be in and out after this season, but I'm convinced that if Vela would have come, he'd have proven himself good enough to be a depth player beyond the half-season loan.
With his ability and versatility, I don't think so. Not as long as he were healthy and motivated enough.
Actually you can 100% blame Wenger for choosing Lord Bendtner, Walcott, over Vela. All three were up and coming youngsters and idiot Wenger never gave Vela a real chance to take over. And what happened? Bendtner flopped, Walcott became the most over hyped player ever, and Vela made a great name for himself in Spain to the point there was talk of Arsenal making a move for him when he blew up in San Sebastian. Plain and simple, Wenger blew it.
I probably watched every single game Arsenal played when Charlie was there. It wasn't Wenger's fault, Vela would only perform in practice and cup games.
