    Arsenal v Bolton

Doesn't look like this game is on TV anywhere, so we may have a hard time finding streams.

I'm really curious to see what kind of defense we put out in this game -- we hardly have any second-string defenders at the moment. Maybe we'll see Squillaci with Miquel.

I'd expect to see Coquelin, Frimpong, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Park. I'd love to finally see Miyaichi.

    Come on, Arsenal!

I don't know what we do in defense. There isn't an obvious pick at LB or RB. I suspect we'll see Miquel and maybe SS.

The problem is that we're so thin in defense that we can't risk any injuries ahead of Chelsea.

I would say something like this:
    --------------Fabianski
    Djourou--Miguel--Squillaci--Santos
    --Coquelin--Frimpong--Rosicky
    Ox------Park/Chamakh--Arshavin

Not an amazing amount of midfield creativity, but it should help protect a week center defense.

It's important to win this one, but then again we have an even more important one on the weekend.

    Being a manager's tough.

Gavin Hoyte is still around. Why not give him a game at LB?

    Is he really??? Dang.

I think Boateng was on the bench earlier this year for Arsenal. He could be another option in the back four.

Especially for a Carling Cup game. I expect maybe we'll see him for Chelsea, but I don't know why we'd risk him for this.

I will not be surprised to see T Vermaelen starting the game tomorrow. He has ben training with the first team and has been named in the provisional squad. I am not sure he will start vs Chelsea though. The Kos- Per combo has been pretty solid lately and I doubt that AW will want to change that vs. Chelsea.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Szczesny, Mannone, Martinez, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Miquel, Vermaelen, Song, Frimpong, Ramsey, Coquelin, Miyaichi, Ozyakup, Aneke, Watt, Arteta, Gervinho, Van Persie, Walcott, Park, A Santos, Benayoun, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Djourou, Rosicky, Arshavin, Chamakh, Squillaci.

I don't get why league cup games aren't shown here. I thought that would change when we began seeing top clubs playing more senior players earlier in the tournament and many mid-Prem clubs playing starters from the beginning. I'll never get why in the past I've seen televised coverage of R.Madrid reserve games, women college soccer, highlights of the youth tournament at OT, and countless other football events that I can't see more than a handful of people watching but the League cup is ignored. Anyone know the details on the rights owners and why this tournament is so hard to follow?

A few years ago, we were able to see most of Arsenal's CC games on FSC.

Ok that clears up one thing. I knew I watched some in the not too distant past but couldn't remember if that was streams, Arsenaltv, espn3, or something else. Thanks. Any idea why they are now so hard to see or when that might change such as when the rights next change hands?

Crush bolton, boys. I'd like to see this club do this season what it couldn't last season in that comedy of errors final. Plus a win over Bolton is always fun after how ********ing annoying they used to be under Big Sam.

Yeah- the later rounds are usually on.

2-1 to le arse with Park showing that he can score during RVP's eventual 9 month injury layoff.
